The Villa Viking Guesthouse got its name from its Norwegian owners which shouldn’t come as a surprise. This Patong guesthouse has been around for nearly 7 years and it seems to be doing rather well considering that its 8 guest rooms are often fully booked. I have been told by one of the managers of the Villa Viking Phuket Guesthouse that most of its guests are Scandinavian tourists and travelers which is of course due to the fact that the owners are from Scandinavia.

Now getting to the most important part of the Villa Viking Guesthouse review and that is of course the information about the guest rooms of this charming little Patong guesthouse. As mentioned before, the Villa Viking Patong Guesthouse has 8 guest rooms and they are all standard rooms. This guest house in Patong beach is not some type of boutique style guesthouse so please don’t expect anything fancy. The rooms at the Villa Viking Phuket are relatively spacious and are very clean. The rooms are not styled in some fancy way but the facilities such as the private bathroom are modern. So it is fair to say that anyone looking for budget accommodation near the beach of Patong will be satisfied when staying at the Villa Viking Guesthouse in Patong Beach. Some of the facilities and amenities which guests can enjoy in their room at this Phuket guesthouse includes for example high speed wireless internet access, air-conditioning, hot and cold water, fridge and international television programming.

Some of the other facilities which are offered by the Villa Viking Guesthouse in Patong Beach for their guests include a restaurant and bar, scooter rental, tour desk, airport transfers, safe at reception desk and a laundry service. Room rates are very reasonable especially when you consider how close this Phuket guesthouse is located to the beach.
