Anyone who knows the hotel industry of Phuket will know that the South side of Phuket has seen very little development in terms of new hotels and resorts opening. One of the reasons why I welcome the opening of the Vijitt Resort Phuket so much is because there was a relatively lack of high quality resort and hotels in that particular part of the island. What is also so great about the Vijitt Resort Phuket is the fact that they are a family friendly holiday resort with facilities such as a kid’s club and to my knowledge there is no resort or hotel in the Rawai / Chalong area of Phuket which can really be described as being a Phuket family resort. And please bear in mind that the South of Phuket is great for families as there are plenty of activities, beautiful beaches and very little nightlife venues.

The Vijitt Resort Phuket is located at friendship beach which is a quiet beach which is located on the Southern shore of the island of Phuket. This Phuket villa resort has a beach frontage of 250 meters! The Phuket friendship beach is located just North of Rawai along the road which leads to Chalong. A lot of expats live in this area of Phuket as it is still relatively undeveloped in terms of tourism, prices are lower and it is a peaceful and relaxing area of Phuket. However if you do stay at the Vijitt Resort Phuket then please note that there are plenty of outstanding restaurants, both Thai and Western, located in the Rawai / Chalong area of Phuket. When I recently visited the Vijitt Resort Phuket I must admit that I was more than impressed with the villas which are available for tourists and travelers. As I mentioned earlier, there are 92 very luxurious villas at this Phuket Villa resort and there are some facts which I would like to mention and which I know will impress you also.

The Vijitt Resort Phuket villas are located along a gently sloping hill which leads right onto the beach. Due to the way in which the villas were planned and build spread out over the property all the villas offer a wonderful view of the Andaman Sea. Another great aspect about the villas at the Vijitt Resort Phuket is the fact that they are stand alone with enough distance in between the different villas so that its occupants are guaranteed a high level of privacy which is something which many travelers and tourists really appreciate.
