Many of the hotels and guesthouses in Phuket Town are a bit outdated and somewhat old which is why it was so refreshing when I came across the Twin Inn Phuket town recently. I had a meeting set up with a client who was staying at this Phuket Town hotel and it was the first time that I was visiting the Twin Inn Phuket City. When I approached this Phuket City hotel I was not very impressed as the exterior is not exactly very nice yet I was blown away by the interior of the Twin Inn Phuket after entering this Phuket town hotel as it was completely different then the exterior and actually very nicely designed.

The Twin Inn hotel in Phuket town is a medium sized 3 star Phuket hotel which offers 51 nicely decorated and rather well appointed guest rooms to travelers and tourists. Obviously most travelers and tourists visiting Phuket Island on holiday will want to stay at a hotel or resort in one of the Phuket beach resort towns which is why hotel options are somewhat limited in Phuket Town which is the capital of the island of Phuket. Phuket Town, also known as Phuket City, is mainly a commercial and administrative town and although it does lie along the eastern shore of Phuket, there is no real beach for travelers and tourists to visit. However there are plenty of business travelers who do stay at a hotel such as the Twin Inn Phuket City as well as some tourists and travelers who are not looking for a beach holiday and who are interesting in discovering and exploring the “real” Phuket in which case a hotel in Phuket Town is a great accommodation option for them.

The Twin Inn Phuket hotel is located right in the center of Phuket Town and is only about 5 minutes away from the central Phuket bus station. The Twin Inn hotel Phuket City is in fact located in somewhat of an entertainment area as there are various clubs, karaoke’s and bars located in the direct vicinity of this hotel in Phuket City. The main shopping area including the Ocean Mall and the different markets are located only a short drive from the Twin Inn Phuket hotel.

I am not very positive about the rooms in many of the hotels in Phuket City as they all look a bit drab and outdated. However when I visited some of the empty rooms at the Twin Inn Phuket City I was pleasantly surprised to find nicely decorated and contemporary styled rooms. All the rooms at the Twin Inn Phuket are the same and guests staying in these superior rooms can enjoy such amenities & facilities such as international television programming, in room safe and high speed internet access. Room rates are very affordable with room rates starting at around 700 Thai Baht per room per night at this new hotel in Phuket City.

Most of the hotels in Phuket Town do not offer facilities such as a swimming pool however the Twin Inn Phuket does have a rather nice outdoor pool. There is also an excellent and very inexpensive spa at the Twin Inn Hotel Phuket. Be sure to check out the Wadee Spa if staying at a hotel in Phuket City. If you feel hungry then be sure to visit the outstanding Rakung Tong Restaurant & Bar at the Twin Inn Phuket hotel which is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
