Trekking In Phuket
To experience the wilder side of Phuket Island's interior, try a trekking journey through their rainforest. Phuket Nature Tour takes groups through 3.5km of Khao Phra Thaew National Park's jungle paths past swimming holes and waterfalls. This is the last remaining virgin rainforest in Phuket and it is home to several wild animals. A typical excursion includes English-speaking jungle guides, hotel transfer and drinks.
For more extreme trekking, Khao Sok National Park covers about 650 square meters of untouched tropical forest and limestone formations. Khao Sok is located on the peninsula on the northern side of Phuket, amidst 4,400 sq km of protected wild sanctuaries.
