Ton Sai Waterfall
The falls are located deep within an un-spoilt National Park, which was used for the jungle scenes of the movie Good Morning Vietnam. The waterfall has a relatively low volume of water and you will always find small local children splashing about in its lower reaches. It can become more wild and exhilarating during Thailand’s rainy season in July to December.
There is a nature trail at the falls that runs for around 2km into the forest where you are reasonably likely to come across monkeys or mouse deer as well as the strange sights and sounds of a genuine virgin rainforest. If you are feeling truly energetic, you can even hike down the forest trails over to Bang Pae Waterfall
There is a fee of 200 Baht to reach the waterfall alternatively you can wait until after 3pm when admission becomes free.
