Thiwa Ratri Resort
The Thiwa Ratri Resort is a relatively large 4 star holiday resort which offers 105 luxurious villas and well appointed guest rooms to travelers and tourists. I would however like to point out straight from the bat that if you are looking for inexpensive holiday accommodation then perhaps the Thiwa Ratri Resort in Kamala Beach is not the ideal Phuket resort for you as room rates are definitely not low. However you do get wonderful accommodation, outstanding service and excellent facilities in return so the Thiwa Ratri Resort & Spa in Kamala beach is well worth the money in my opinion.
The Thiwa Ratri Resort is actually located just south of the main resort town of Kamala beach so you are a bit away from all the noise, shops, bars and restaurants. I personally like the location of this luxurious Kamala resort and it is located approximately where the old Kamala Bay Terrace Resort used to stand. There is a smaller and certainly a lot more private and peaceful stretch of beach right across the street from the Thiwa Ratri Resort or alternatively you can take the complimentary shuttle bus into Kamala where you can enjoy the main stretch of beach and enjoy all the various activities and attractions which it offers its visitors. One of the reasons why I often recommend Kamala beach to travelers and tourists is because it is a somewhat quiet and peaceful holiday destination yet is located only minutes away from Patong beach and all of its Patong nightlife venues and major shopping outlets such as the Patong Jungceylon shopping mall.
I would personally recommend this resort especially to families as Kamala beach is the ideal Phuket family destination and the Thiwa Ratri Resort is somewhat secludes which is comforting for many parents. However couples or anyone else looking for a quiet and peaceful Phuket vacation will most definitely enjoy their stay at this luxurious resort in Kamala beach.
When I arrived at the Thiwa Ratri Resort and Spa in Kamala beach I right away knew that I was going to like it. Granted the resort is not located right along the waters of the Andaman Sea however the beach is located only a very short walk away. The style in which this Kamala resort is designed is simply gorgeous and stunning way and you right away now that you will have a peaceful and luxurious holiday experience at the Thiwa Ratri Resort and Spa in Kamala Beach. Whenever I visit a resort such as this lovely Kamala resort I always start off by walking the grounds of the resort. Even just walking around the grounds of the Phuket Thiwa Ratri Resort and Spa was a true delight as there are lily ponds everywhere, landscaped gardens and wonderful hand crafter walkways.
Another thing which I would like to point out to my readers is that the local staff and management of the Thiwa Ratri Phuket Resort and Spa are just so friendly and welcoming. I had the opportunity to talk to some of the staff and they were so very helpful and their level of English was rather impressive. If you do end up staying at the Kamala luxury resort during your holiday on Phuket then rest assured that you will be given the highest level of customer service.
One of the managers met me and offered me the chance to see of the rooms and villas which the Thiwa Ratri Resort and Spa has on offer. As I mentioned earlier on, the Thiwa Ratri Resort offers 105 villas and rooms to its guests and there are in fact various different room categories from which you can choose and they include for example superior rooms, deluxe pavilion rooms, suites, deluxe villas and the more than impressive Royal villas. It doesn’t really matter whether you stay in one of the regular rooms or in one of the luxurious villas as all of the villas and rooms at the Thiwa Ratri Kamala Resort and Spa are beautifully designed and decorated. They designers have opted for a contemporary and rather luxurious Thai style and the final result is rather stunning. Guests can also enjoy from a wide range of luxurious and modern room amenities and facilities which include in room safe, high speed internet access, fully stocked fridge, air-conditioning and international television programming as well as complimentary coffee and tea making facilities.
There is plenty to enjoy at the Thiwa Ratri Resort and Spa for guests and as the name suggests, there is an excellent spa where resort guests as well as outside visitors can enjoy a variety of spa services. The Plumeria Spa at the Thiwa Ratri Resort in Kamala beach employs some of the best massage therapists on the island and guests can enjoy a variety of different massages including Swedish massage, sports massage, oil massage and Thai massage.
Some of the other excellent facilities available at this luxury resort in Kamala beach include a beautiful freeform swimming pool as well as an excellent Jacuzzi and a state of the art Jacuzzi. Please note that the Thiwa Ratri Resort also have several fully equipped meeting and function rooms which are ideal for groups, business travelers and corporate retreats.
There is also an excellent restaurant at this luxury resort in Kamala beach. The Thiwara restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner and specialized in Royal Thai cuisine. Please also be sure to visit the Ratrina Lounge for a nice cocktail whilst listening to live jazz music.
