Recently I had the opportunity to inspect the Sunshine Mansion Patong which is definitely a very centrally located Patong guesthouse and which seems to offer extremely good value for money. They generally tend to be situated in a converted Thai style shop house however in the case of Sunshine Mansion Patong it is different. This outstanding guesthouse in the center of Patong beach is located in a relatively new building which was built in 2006. I always recommend to people that when they are interested in staying at a guesthouse in Patong beach then they should really look into booking a room at the guesthouse which is located in a relatively new building as some of the older guesthouses in Patong beach can be pretty rough and often in need of various forms of repair. This is certainly not the case with the Sunshine Mansion in Patong beach as the building is in excellent shape and I found no faults during my inspection of the Sunshine Mansion Phuket.

The reception area of the Sunshine Mansion Patong is decorated and styled in a very typical Thai style which is very warm and friendly. On top of that the staff working at the front desk of the Phuket Sunshine Mansion is very well trained, friendly and speaks reasonably good English. My overall first impression of the Sunshine Mansion in Patong beach was very favorable. However, obviously the most important part of my inspection of any hotel, resort or guesthouse on Phuket is my visit and inspection of some of the guest rooms. The rooms were extremely spacious and probably are the largest of any rooms which I have visited in other guesthouses in Patong beach. If you are looking for affordable and spacious holiday accommodation in Patong beach then you should definitely check out the Sunshine Mansion in Patong beach. Another reason why the Sunset Mansion in Patong is so popular is because the guest rooms also offer cooking facilities which is ideal for those of you who enjoy doing a bit of cooking yourself. Some of the other facilities and amenities which can be found in each of the rooms of the Sunset Mansion in Patong beach include for example free wireless internet, cable television and many of the rooms also have a private balcony.

Room rates at the Sunset Mansion in Patong beach start at around 900 Thai Baht per room per night during the low season and go up to 1200 Thai Baht per room per night during the tourist peak season which is around Christmas and New Years.

The Sunset Mansion is located right in the center of Patong. The modern Jungceylon shopping mall is located only a few minutes away on foot as does Soi Bangla which is the epicenter of the Phuket nightlife industry. The white sandy beach of Patong is situated only about 5 minutes away on foot.
