The Sunset Orange Bar is a relatively new Patong beer bar which is situated in a small road off Sainamyen Road. The Sunset Orange Bar Phuket is an open air beer bar which is located in a small street which is home to perhaps a dozen similar Patong beer bars and a variety of stores. It is not really a very typical location for beer bars however a lot of the clients seem to prefer this relatively quiet and relaxed atmosphere over that of Bangla Road, Soi Eric, Soi Seadragon and Soi Easy. As the Patong Sunset Orange Bar and the other Patong bars located nearby open relatively early in the day, many of the clients prefer visiting the Sunset Orange Bar before heading down to Soi Bangla and all its nightlife venues later on in the evening. Another reason why many local Patong expats prefer the Sunset Orange bar or one of the other beer bars nearby is because prices for beers and other alcoholic beverages are cheaper then what you would expect to pay at one of the Phuket bars which are located in the Bangla Road area.

One of the reasons why I visit the Patong Sunset Orange bar is because of its owner. Waw is a charming Thai lady who really knows how to manage a beer bar on Phuket. She is one of the kindest and friendliest Phuket bar owner I have ever met plus she is a pretty nice to look at! Waw has been in Patong for a number of years and she is extremely well known and popular which is why she has managed to recruit a very nice group of hot Phuket girls to work at her Sunset Orange bar. Because of the nice Phuket bar girls working at Sunset Orange Bar as well as the lovely owner, this beer bar in Patong enjoys a large number of repeat customers who seem to return each time they visit Phuket again.

I would like to inform first time visitors about the bell. If you ring the bell at the Phuket Sunset Orange Bar or at any of the other Phuket beer bars then you are expected to give a round of drinks to all the staff as well as to all the other clients at the bar. So be sure not to ring the bell by accident as this could lead to a hefty bar tab.
