The Phuket Sunset Beach Resort is especially very popular with couples and honeymooners for a number of different reasons. The location of the resort is very important as it is located in Northern Patong / Kalim Bay which is a very peaceful and quiet area thus ideal for those travelers and tourists who would like to be close to Patong and all that it has to offer but who would prefer to stay at a lovely beach resort which offers a relaxing and intimate environment. Another reason why the Sunset Beach Resort Phuket is a very popular choice is because the room rates are extremely affordable especially when you consider that it is right across the road from the magnificent Andaman Sea. More and more families are also staying at the Sunset Beach Resort as Kalim Bay is a lot more family friendly and safe then Patong itself. Sunset Beach Resort Location
The Sunset Beach Resort is one of my favorite 3 star resorts on this part of Phuket Island as it is superbly situated right across the street from the Andaman Sea and Kalim beach. Kalim Beach is more or less part of Northern Patong but it is a lot less developed then Patong. You will find a few hotels, small shops and restaurants however you will not find any loud clubs, pubs or groups of drunks. This certainly adds a great deal to the charm of this resort.

Sunset Beach Resort Phuket Accommodation
The Sunset Beach Resort Phuket offers surprisingly well design and spacious guest rooms and suites considering that it is only a 3 star Phuket vacation resort. All the suites and rooms come equipped with modern amenities and facilities and all have a private terrace or balcony. The majority of the guest rooms and suites at the Sunset Beach Resort Phuket offer a view of the Andaman Sea whilst others offer a splendid view of the large outdoor swimming pool of the resort. Once again I would like to point out that the room rates are extremely attractive when you consider the location of the resort as it is only meters away from the sea. Travelers can choose from a variety of different room types at the Sunset Beach Resort Phuket and they include studio apartments, deluxe rooms and junior suites.
Sunset Beach Resort Phuket Facilities
As the resort is located in a somewhat remote area of Patong, it is important that the Sunset Beach Resort offers enough facilities and services so as to keep the guests satisfied. This is certainly the case as guests can enjoy a wide range of facilities and services and they include for example a kid’s pool, large free style swimming pool, Jacuzzi and the fabulous Sunset Spa which has a very large menu of spa treatment programs and massages.
Although the resort is located directly across from the street of Kalim beach and the Andaman Sea, I would like to point out that it is not really a very nice beach to spend the day on as it is filled with rocks. The same applies to the sea here so most of the resort guests will actually use the beach elsewhere. There are a number of food and beverage outlets at the Sunset Beach Resort Patong beach and guests can also walk up and down the road as they will encounter additional restaurants and bars there.
