The Patong Sundowners Guesthouse and Bar is owned and managed by John and Aek who are an extremely nice and friendly gay couple. Both John and Aek have extensive experience in the hospitality industry which is definitely reflected in how the renovated, designed and furnished the Phuket Sundowners Bar and Guesthouse. The previous tenant of the building, the James Dean Bar, was already a nice bar and gay Patong guesthouse however I must admit that the Sundowners Phuket is definitely an improvement as the whole place overall looks much nicer and I personally think that the atmosphere has also improved. I am certain that any gay traveler staying at the Sundowners Phuket will have an extremely comfortable and pleasant stay.

The Sundowners Phuket is a relatively small guesthouse as it offers only 7 rooms to tourists and travelers. Please note that 5 of these rooms come with queen sized bed whilst the other 2 two guest rooms have king sized beds. The rooms at the Sundowners Patong beach do come equipped with a variety of modern facilities and amenities which are normally only found in hotels and which include coffee and tea making facilities, international television programming and safe deposit boxes. All of the rooms are very nice furbished and decorated and it certainly is one of the nicest Patong Paradise complex guesthouses. Another interesting point about the Sundowners Phuket guesthouse and bar is the fact that its bar is divided over 2 floors. The Sundowners bar on the ground floor has a nice outdoor terrace and you can play a game of pool indoors or use the internet. The Sundowners bar on the first floor is a nice Patong sports bar which shows a variety of live sporting events. You can also rent the entire bar for private events. Please note that the Phuket Sundowners bar also has a small but excellent food menu.

The Sundowners Bar and Guesthouse in Patong beach is located directly in the center of the information Patong Paradise complex. There are various different Phuket gay bars and clubs within easy walking distance and these include for example the Patong connect bar and the Patong Boat Bar. If you want to do some shopping then please note that Bangla Road and the Phuket Jungceylon shopping mall are located only a 5 minute walk away.
