The Summer Inn Karon is a very popular and comfortable guesthouse which is situated right in the center of Karon beach. As with many Phuket guesthouses, the Summer Inn Karon beach is located in a Thai style shop house. As this Karon beach guesthouse is situated in only a single shop house, the Summer Inn Guesthouse is relatively small and intimate. When I visited the Summer Inn Phuket for a recent inspection, I was surprised to find many Finish travelers and tourists staying at this guest house in Karon. In all the years that I have lived on the island of Phuket I can count the number of Finish people which I have met on one hand. Obviously I was extremely curious why so many Finish people were staying at the Summer Inn Karon so I asked the Thai staff at the reception. I was informed that the Summer Inn Karon guesthouse has a Finish owner which obviously explained the reason why many Finish travelers and tourists stay at this charming little guesthouse on Phuket. However please don’t worry about being surrounded by only Finish travelers when staying at this Phuket guesthouse as there are travelers from around the world staying at the Summer Inn Karon during their holiday on Phuket.

I personally had a very favorable impression of this guesthouse in Karon beach during my visit. I really like venues which have a nice outdoor terrace ant the Summer Inn Karon has one right in front of the entrance to the guesthouse. It is definitely a wonderful place to enjoy a drink or bite to eat and enjoy looking at all the different types of people walk by. The Summer Inn Guesthouse in Karon beach is situated directly along Patak Road which is the main road of Karon and which is where most of the bars, restaurants, stores and Karon beach guesthouses are located. If I was to look for accommodation for myself and my family in Karon beach then I would definitely look for a place which is along the Patak road. If you want to experience Phuket nightlife at its best then you can simply take a Tuk Tuk over the hill to Patong beach which is the epicenter of Phuket nightlife. However Karon beach also offers a wide range of Karon beer bars including some very nice Phuket bar girls for you to select from.

The Summer Inn Karon beach guesthouse has been nicely designed and decorated and I would definitely recommend this Phuket guesthouse to travelers asking me for advice. It is not the best guesthouse on Phuket but I would definitely rank it pretty high. The guest rooms of the Summer Inn Karon are rather spacious and nicely designed. One of the things which I like about this Karon beach guesthouse is the fact that everything is freshly painted and very clean and tidy. Unfortunately you will not find this in all of the budget class Phuket accommodations. I would like to point out that the Finish owner is often back in Finland however he does have an excellent Thai manager in place. Khun Beam certainly knows how to run a tight ship and his hotel staff are trained to a high level. You could definitely have a very pleasant stay at the Summer Inn Phuket guesthouse at Karon beach. All of the rooms have been nicely furbished and come equipped with a wide range of modern amenities and facilities.
