You might be surprised to find out that it can be very challenging to find a suitable and affordable Patong apartment considering the fact that Patong beach is the premier tourist destination of Phuket Island. The apartments at the Sermsuwan House are popular with both Thai residents as well as expat residents as they offer a middle ground which was hard to find before.
The Sermsuwan House does in fact consist of two separate building with one having four floors and the other Patong apartment building having only 2 floors. It is nearly impossible to miss the Phuket Sermsuwan House as the buildings are painted in a very bright yellow color. One of the benefits of the Sermsuwan House when compared to some of the other Patong apartment buildings is the fact that there is a large parking lot attached to the Sermsuwan House for those residents who have their own car. You really don’t want to be parking your car along one of the roads in Patong so the parking lot with free parking is a very important facility to have for the residents living at the Sermsuwan House.
Please note that in case you are interested in renting a Patong apartment at the Sermsuwan House that all the apartments at this Patong apartment building are studios. These Patong studio apartments are decorated and designed in a fresh and airy style and all come fully furnished. Each studio has a private bathroom. Some of the facilities and amenities which residents can enjoy at the Sermsuwan House include air-conditioning, cable television, fridge, hot and cold water, high speed internet access, 24 hour security and a state of the art CCTV camera system.
The cost of a Patong apartment with air-conditioning at the Sermsuwan House in Patong beach will cost 7000 Thai Baht per month and there is a security deposit of 5000 Thai Baht. If you want to rent a studio apartment without air-conditioning then the cost will be 4300 Thai Baht per month and there will be a security deposit of 2000 Thai Baht. Please note that water and electricity will be charged separately.
The Sermsuwan House is located in a residential area of Patong beach close to the Chinese temple which is located at the beginning of the road which leads from Patong beach to the other side of Patong hill to Kathu. There are many shops, restaurants, local businesses and bars in this part of Patong beach. You could walk down to the beach however this would take you around 15 minutes.
