However these holiday resorts tend to be rather pricy so if you would like to take your family to Patong and you have a tight travel budget then the Sea Sun Sand resort could do rather nicely for you. There are many single travelers who stay at the Sea Sun Sand Resort as the resort is located very close to many of the popular Phuket nightlife venues and areas and which include Soi Bangla and Christine Massage for example.

The Sea Sun Sand Resort is located along the second road of Patong beach which is the Rat U Thit Road. If you want to pop down the beach then it is only a 2 minute walk and there are plenty of motorbike taxi’s and Tuk Tuk’s which you can find parked nearby to the Sea Sun Sand Resort Phuket. This Patong beach resort is ideal for those travelers that do not want to rent a car or motorbike as there are so many places which you can visit on foot.

The Sea Sun Sand Resort offers 78 well appointed guest rooms which are all designed in a local Thai style. One of the nice aspects about the accommodation at the Sea Sun Sand Resort Phuket is that all the guest rooms have rather nice private terraces which offer views of the swimming pool and the landscaped tropical gardens. All the guest rooms at the Sea Sun Sand Garden resort offer the facilities and amenities which are necessary for guests to have a pleasurable and comfortable stay.

I would like to keep my reviews which I write for each individual Phuket resort and hotel honest. This is why I would like to mention the following. The Sea Sun Sand resort has recently had a scandal as hotel staff was stealing from the guest rooms. This was published in various local media and it seemed that the local Patong police and the management of the Sea Sun Sand Resort tried to do a cover up. I do not know what the situation is currently at this Patong resort however I would like to suggest for you to be very careful with your variables. Please note that the staff had been stealing from the in room safes which are located in each of the rooms so just because you put your valuables in an in room safe does not necessarily mean that your items are safe.

Sea Sun Sand Resort Facilities

The Sea Sun Sand Resort offers the typical range of facilities, services and activities which most of the 3 star resorts offer on Phuket. There is a nice and well maintained outdoor swimming pool, outdoor Jacuzzi and an outstanding sauna which those guests can enjoy that want to spend a quiet and relaxing day at the resort. The hotel however does not offer activities such as a kid’s club, Thai cooking classes or aerobics.

However due to the excellent location of the Sea Sun Sand Resort, there are plenty of activities which you can enjoy nearby to the hotel. There are dozens of massage parlors located in the direct vicinity of the Sea Sun Sand Resort as well as numerous boutiques, restaurants and bars. You will certainly not have any problem in keeping yourself occupied. If you want to spend some time in an air-conditioned venue during the day time then I suggest for you to visit the Jungceylon shopping mall which is home to hundreds of shops, many food and beverage outlets and a world class cinema. The beach is of course only a short walk away and there are many ways how you can keep yourself entertained there.

There are two outstanding food and beverage outlets at the Phuket Sea Sun Sand Resort in Patong. The restaurant of the resort is known for its good food at very affordable prices. So if you are on a budget then be sure to dine frequently at the restaurant of the Sea Sun Sand resort. As mentioned before, guests will have no problem in finding alternative restaurants as Patong beach is filled with them.
