I have seen and visited so many guesthouses in Patong beach over the last year or 2 that I think it would be fair to assume that it is not easy to surprise me. However I recently visited the Sea Dream Patong after a recommendation from a close friend and I must admit that I was positively surprised by this excellent guesthouse in Patong beach. One of the things which I like most about the Sea Dreams Patong Guesthouse is the fact that it is located directly adjacent to the Patong beach road thus making it a very short distance indeed to the white sandy beach of Patong and the Andaman Sea. If you are looking for holiday accommodation which is located directly next to the Patong beach road then you will soon discover that nearly all the properties are relatively luxurious and expensive resorts and hotels. However there are a few exceptions to this rule and the Sea Dreams Patong guesthouse is one of them. If you are seeking for inexpensive holiday accommodation situated directly across the street from the beach of Patong then the Sea Dream Patong guesthouse is definitely a Patong accommodation establishment which you should consider staying at during your vacation on the island of Phuket.

The Sea Dream Patong reminds me of how popular tourist destinations such as Patong used to look like 30 years ago when there were many guesthouses which lined the beach areas. If you go to some of the quieter and less well known Phuket resort areas such as Nai Yang beach then you will still be able to find guesthouses such as the Sea Dream Patong guesthouse however it has become a rarity in the large and popular resort towns such as Patong beach.

If you are looking for holiday accommodation which also offers access to facilities such as a kids club, swimming pool or a spa then you should definitely not make a reservation at the Sea Dream Patong or any other guesthouse in Patong for that matter. But please bear in mind that the Sea Dream guesthouse in Patong is located directly across the street of the beach so what more do you really need? You can enjoy the sea and enjoy sunbathing on the beach and also keep in mind that there are many activities offered on the beach. You can rent a long tail boat to explore the coast line or you could for example enjoy some para sailing or jet skiing. The Sea Dream Patong guesthouse is located along the Patong beach road which is lined by hundreds of great shops, boutiques and booths as well as many restaurants and bars so you certainly won’t experience a dull moment. The Sea Dream Patong guesthouse is actually located towards the southern end of the Patong beach road which is a bit more quiet and peaceful than other areas of the beach road so you can still enjoy a relatively peaceful holiday in the area of Patong in which the Sea Dream Patong guesthouse is situated.

The Sea Dream Patong Guesthouse has been around for ages so I wasn’t sure what to expect when it came to how the rooms looked and were furnished. I did have a look at both a standard and a superior room at this Patong beach guesthouse and I really like both of these rooms. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated and furnished. You will certainly have a very comfortable and enjoyable stay if you book either one of these room types at the Sea Dream Patong Guesthouse. The guest rooms of this Patong beach guesthouse do come equipped with a wide range of modern facilities and amenities including for example international television programming, air-conditioning, international direct dial telephone, in room safe, fully stocked mini bar and high speed wireless internet. If you want to enjoy a view of the beach and the sea then you should book a superior room as they also offer a nice private balcony. What has amazed me most about the Sea Dream Patong guesthouse are its incredibly low room rates especially when you consider the excellent location of this Patong beach guesthouse. Prices start at only 800 Thai Baht per room per night during the Patong tourist low season and double during the peak season which is during New Years and Christmas.
