Although the Best Western Sawaddi Phuket hotel has not officially opened yet, I have had the pleasure of meeting one of the managers of this new Phuket hotel and I was able to get a private tour of the Sawaddi Patong hotel. I have visited all of the hotels listed in our Phuket guide and generally only the 5 star deluxe Phuket resort stun me however I was stunned when I visited the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel. First of all the building in which the hotel is located is simply stunning however even more impressive is the way in which the interior of the Sawaddi Phuket hotel in Patong beach has been designed, decorated and furnished. You can’t help but get the impression that you have walked straight into some property which is inside of some fancy interior design or real estate magazine. If you want to spend your vacation on Phuket in a classy environment and warm atmosphere then I would definitely like to take this opportunity to recommend the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel to you. You certainly won’t regret it if you do end up staying in one of the spectacular suites or guest rooms at this luxurious Patong hotel. Please note that as the Sawaddi Patong hotel will have just only opened, travelers and tourists can get really special bargain rates for accommodation at this lovely Thai hotel.

The Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel is located along Sainamyen road which is centrally located yet still relatively quiet as there are no discos are dozens of noisy beer bars located in this part of Patong. However guests staying at the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel can still easily walk down to the Bangla Road area, Phuket Jungceylon shopping center and of course the white sandy beach of Patong. If you don’t really want to rent a car or bike during your vacation then this Patong hotel is ideally located for those of you that enjoy exploring a new destination on foot.
Patong beach is the most famous and the busiest travel destination of Phuket. Hundreds of thousands of travelers and tourists stay at one of the resorts, hotels or guesthouses of Patong each year. Patong has always been famous for its legendary nightlife venues however Patong has changed somewhat during the last decade as more and more families and business travelers are now also opting to stay in Patong during their trip to Phuket. One of the main reasons for this is because a world class American style shopping mall opened its doors a few years back and there are also a lot more family friendly activities which tourists and travelers can enjoy.

The Sawaddi Patong Hotel has 144 rooms and suites available for travelers and tourists who are looking to stay at a modern yet elegant hotel in Patong beach. During my tour of the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel I had the opportunity to visit show rooms of all the various different room categories which are available at this great hotel in Patong. Even the standard guest rooms are very spacious and well appointed and obviously the luxurious suites are simply amazing. All the rooms and suites at the Sawaddi Patong resort are designed in an elegant yet very bright style and large paintings are hang on the walls of the rooms. It seems that the interior designers who have designed these rooms have spent a great deal of attention to even the smallest of details. Obviously all the rooms and suites at the Sawaddi Hotel Patong come equipped with a wide range of modern amenities and facilities and I can’t imagine any guest finding anything about their accommodation to complain about. The great thing of course about staying at a new hotel or resort on Phuket is that the rooms, facilities and the grounds are in tip top shape. This is one of the main reasons why I always prefer to stay at a hotel or resort which was only recently built or has just undergone an extensive renovation.
The different room types which are available at the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel include standard rooms, superior rooms, deluxe rooms and 1 bedroom suites. If you are traveling with your family and children then please note that you can request at time of reservation rooms with connecting doors if so required by you.
If you are still looking to reserve a room or suite for the upcoming Christmas and New Years Eve period then I would definitely suggest for you to check out this hotel as you won’t find such inexpensive room rates at any other 4 star hotel in Patong beach.
Best Western Sawaddi Patong Hotel Facilities
There are various different facilities, services and activities which guests staying at the Best Western Sawaddi Patong hotel can enjoy. During my visit I had a chance to see the new outdoor swimming pool which is located in the landscaped grounds of the Sawaddi Patong hotel and I must honestly say that it is one of the nicest swimming pools I have seen so far on Phuket. There is also a smaller children’s swimming pool so this hotel is ideal for families. Some of the other excellent facilities of this high end Patong hotel include a large games room as well as a beautiful snooker room. One of the reasons why I will definitely recommend this hotel to families with young kids is because there will also be a fun kids club for the young ones. Parents should also be able to enjoy some peacefulness during their vacation on Phuket so the kids club is ideal for that. For those of you who want to stay fit and not gain too much weight because of all the great Thai food then please note that there is a fully equipped fitness center available free of charge for hotel guests.
There is also an awesome sauna and spa at the resort where guests can enjoy all the various types of massages which have originated from Thailand. Spoil yourself and be sure to enjoy an oil massage or a relaxing traditional Siamese massage.
Sawaddi Patong Hotel Food and Beverage
As the hotel had not opened yet during my inspection of the property, I was unfortunately unable to sample any of the foods which will be offered at the Sawaddi Patong Hotel. I have however received detailed information about the various different food and beverage venues which will be available to guests staying at this 4 star Phuket hotel. I was able to see the venues and as with the rest of the hotel, they are beautifully designed and decorated and I am certain that they will become very popular restaurants for both hotel guess as well as for local expat residents. The manager informed me that the menu will be competitively priced so that outside visitors would also come and dine at one of the food and beverage venues at the Best Western Sawaddi Phuket hotel.
