The Salathai Resort in Patong was only built a few years ago but it has quickly grown to be one of the most popular resorts in Patong. Even though the resort might only have a 3 star rating, the resort does in fact have a lot more in common with a 4 star resort. The Salathai resort is located only a very short distance from the beach of Patong which is something which many travelers are looking for when choosing a hotel in Patong. I would also like to take the opportunity to mention that the room rates at the Patong Salathai resort are more than reasonable and are lower when compared to similar resorts in Patong beach.

Please note that there are many Patong nightlife venues which are located only a brief walk away from the resort so it is ideal for those of you that enjoy going bar hopping at night. Couples often prefer the Salathai resort because of its spacious and well appointed guest rooms, the location of the resort and the wonderful intimate and romantic atmosphere that the Salathai resort offers its clients. Families can also often be found staying at this Patong holiday resort as the Salathai hotel offers a wide range of facilities including a kid’s pool for some of the younger children.

The Patong beach Salathai Resort is location at a very central location in Patong beach and the beach of Patong is only a minute away. The actual street in which the resort is situated is one of the more popular and busy streets of Patong and it is filled with many shops, stores, restaurants, bars and other hotels and resorts. You could also easily walk to the large and modern Patong Jungceylon shopping mall or the ever so lively Soi Bangla road with all its beer bars and other nightlife venues.
So if a central location is very important to you when choosing a resort or hotel then I would definitely recommend the Salathai resort in Patong beach to you.

All rooms and suites also come with a large balcony so that guests can enjoy the view and enjoy some private sunbathing. Salathai Resort Phuket Facilities
The Salathai Resort offers the type of facilities which are generally found of resorts this size in Phuket. If you are visiting Phuket Island with your kids and are looking for a Phuket holiday resort which offers a wide range of activities then this resort is not necessarily the right hotel for you as the number of facilities and services offered is rather limited. However in my experience you will spend most of your time on the beach of Patong anyway or perhaps shopping at the Jungceylon Mall or at one of the boutiques along the Patong beach road or along Bangla road. Most of the guests are more than happy at the Salathai Resort as it offers a wonderful swimming pool and this is often the only type of facility which they will use at their Phuket hotel normally anyway. Patong is such a lively travel destination and there are so many wonderful activities and attractions which you can enjoy both in Patong and in other Phuket destinations such as Kamala beach, Karon beach and Kata beach.
Salathai Resort Food and Beverage
Please keep in mind that the Salathai is a relatively small resort so there is in fact only one restaurant located at this resort in Patong beach. The rather well designed and very trendy Salathai restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner and it is a very popular restaurant with outside visitors as well as diners can enjoy fantastic view of the Andaman Sea. Be sure to visit this restaurant during sunset and enjoy a tropical cocktail with your loved one. The menu of the Salathai restaurant including both Thai and International dishes and they also offer a wonderful selection of seafood dishes to its clients.
As I mentioned before, the area in which the Salathai resort is located is one of the more lively areas of Patong beach and there are many different types of Patong restaurants which are located within a short walk of the resort. You will certainly not have any difficulty in finding a suitable Patong beach restaurant for you and your loved ones. There are in fact a number of really excellent and inexpensive Thai seafood restaurants located directly along the beach and which are only a hundred meters or so away from the Patong Beach Salathai resort.
