If you want to see more of Phuket then only its beaches then a stay of a few days in Phuket Town is a must. There are so many wonderful places to visit in Phuket City and this includes several Chinese Buddhist shrines, Thai Buddhist temples, the Phuket Zoo and even a museum. If you like explore a new destination of the beaten track then what better place to stay in than Phuket City?

You can even take the local public transportation to explore the surrounding area. I was actually surprised to discover how nice the rooms really were during my first inspection of the Rome Place Phuket Hotel. The nicely decorated guest rooms at this Phuket budget hotel are painted in fresh and bright colors and I feel certain that guests will have a pleasant stay at this hotel in Phuket City. Even though the Rome Place Hotel Phuket is only a 2 star hotel, all the guest rooms do come equipped with modern facilities and amenities such as a mini bar and satellite television.
There are a number of different room categories from which travelers and tourists can select and they include standard rooms, superior and deluxe rooms. If you are able to afford a bit more then the cheapest room rates then I would recommend for you to book a spacious deluxe room as these rooms offer a more comfortable stay.
Rome Place Hotel Phuket Facilities
If you are looking for a hotel in Phuket City which offers many different types of facilities then I am afraid that the Rome Place Hotel in Phuket will not be a very good choice for you. There is no swimming pool for example or any organized activities.
There is however an excellent massage parlor located at the Rome Place Hotel Phuket and visitors can enjoy a wide range of different types of massages. If you visit the Relax Café and if you have a laptop or netbook then you can take advantage of the free wireless internet service.
However please not be to bothered about the lack of facilities at the Rome Place Hotel as there are plenty of places to visit and things do in Phuket City.
