The Phuket Tower Inn is a hotel in Phuket City which I have been planning to visit for a site inspection for a very long time but I finally managed to visit this hotel in Phuket City which is actually one of the largest in town. Most foreign travelers and tourists do not even know about the Phuket Town Inn as this Phuket City hotel has no website of its own and very few hotel reservation websites actually offer the Phuket Town Inn in their online inventory of hotels in Phuket Town.

And the same actually applies to many hotels in Phuket City. Most travel sites offer perhaps a dozen hotels in the capital city of Phuket however there are considerably more hotels in Phuket Town but most of them do not really cater to foreigners all that much but more to domestic travelers. I am guessing that the Phuket Town Inn hotel is one such hotel as during my recent site inspection I saw very few foreigners at this hotel in Phuket City.

As mentioned before, the Phuket Tower Inn Hotel is one of the largest hotels in Phuket Town as the hotel is located in a very tall building which has 165 comfortable guest rooms and well appointed suites. The Phuket Tower Inn hotel is located in the center of Phuket City and it not too far away from the central Phuket Bus Station and some of the more popular shopping areas of Phuket Town such as the Ocean Mall. So if you are looking for a budget hotel in Phuket City which is easily reached via public transport then the Phuket Tower Inn Hotel is definitely an option you should consider.

It is hard to miss the Phuket Tower Inn as it’s located in such a big and tall building. There is plenty of parking spaces available outside of the hotel for both cars, scooters and even buses. Around the hotel there are a lot of small shops and restaurants selling things such as Thai fast food and noodle soup.

The reception area of the Phuket Tower Inn Hotel is a bit outdated as I suspect that the hotel has seen few or no renovations since the Phuket Tower Inn first opened. One problem which you may have at the Phuket Tower Inn hotel is that the staff there doesn’t speak very good English so you may have some communication problems.

As mentioned before, there are 165 guest rooms and suites at the Phuket Tower Inn in Phuket City. There are two room types from which travelers and tourists can choose and that is the superior room type and the Tower Inn suite room type. Please bear in mind that the Phuket Tower Inn is a budget hotel so don’t expect any fancy or beautifully designed rooms. The guest rooms of this hotel in Phuket City do have nice wooden floors and have some nice facilities but the design and furnishings are a bit outdated. Some of the facilities and amenities which you can enjoy in the rooms and suites at the Phuket Tower Inn hotel include air-conditioning, international television programming, direct dial telephone, mini bar and private bathroom facilities.

There aren’t that many facilities at the Phuket Tower Inn which tourists and travelers would normally expect from such a large hotel in Phuket. There is for example no spa or swimming pool but as I said, this hotel attracts mainly domestic and business travelers. The Phuket Tower Inn hotel does have outstanding banquet and meeting facilities and the staff can organize meetings and events up to 200 people. A lot of local businesses also use these services and facilities due to the inexpensive prices of this hotel in Phuket City. There is also an outstanding Thai restaurant at this hotel in Phuket Town which offers excellent value for money. Often they will also offer entertainment and often they offer special buffets.
