Phuket Marina

If you are living on Phuket and are looking for a place to keep your boat or yacht then you will have no problem finding a suitable Phuket marina. There are in fact three international standard Phuket marinas from which you can select.

If you are planning a trip to Phuket and are interested in hiring a yacht then you should plan a visit to a Phuket marina as you will have plenty of options available to you there. I have frequently visited the Phuket marinas listed down below and I enjoyed only looking at some of the spectacular yachts that were located at these marinas in Phuket.

Potential real estate investors should also have a look at the Phuket marinas as they offer outstanding apartments and houses which have proven to be very popular and could earn a generous return on investment.

The Phuket guide has created a Phuket marina listing for you down below so that you know what your options are when it comes to the various different Phuket marinas.

Phuket Marinas

Royal Phuket Marina – This is the newest and most modern Phuket marina on the island. The Royal Phuket Marina offers 350 spaces for boats and yachts and it has been awarded the much respected 5 golden anchors status.

This luxurious and rather exclusive Phuket marina also has a magnificent real estate section which includes close to five hundred apartments, suites and upscale villas.

Some of the other facilities which people can enjoy at this Phuket marina include a large conference and exhibition facility, shops and boutiques, five award winning restaurant, health club and spa.

Phuket Boat Lagoon – This Phuket marina is the first marina that was constructed on the island and first opened its doors 15 years ago. The Phuket Boat Lagoon offers spaces for up to 170 boats and yachts. This Phuket Marina is located only a short car or boat ride away from the Royal Phuket Marina.

If you drive through the Phuket boat lagoon complex then you don’t have the feeling that you are still on Phuket as the housing and structures are in what I can best describe a “Florida” style. Many expats living on Phuket consider this as one of the best places to live on Phuket Island. There is also an outstanding hotel and resort located at this Phuket marina for those of you that don’t want to sleep on your yacht.

If you do visit the Phuket Boat Lagoon then be sure to enjoy a bite to eat or a coffee at the excellent coffee shop at this Phuket marina. It is the ideal place to enjoy the sunset or to look at some of the beautiful yachts which are berthed there. There are also a number of outstanding restaurants located at the Phuket Boat Lagoon Marina.

The Phuket Yacht Haven - The third Phuket marina listed in our handy Phuket travel guide is the Phuket Yacht haven which is very popular due to its close location to the entrance of Phang Nga Bay. This Phuket marina offers space for up to 150 ships and yachts.

There is no residential complex attached to the Phuket Yacht haven however there are a number of shops and an outstanding Phuket marina restaurant.
