In many destinations and cities around the world women can join international women’s clubs and this is also the case in Phuket as there is also a rather active Phuket International Womens Club which has been around since 1989.

Many ladies often think that the Phuket International Womens Club is only open to foreign members however this is definitely not the case. There are also a large number of Thai ladies who have joined the Phuket International Womens Club. They are often either the partner of a foreigner or they are career women.

The Phuket International Womens Club is a non-profit organization which helps those Thai children that are in need of assistance. However one of the most important aspects of the Phuket International Womens Club is that it is a social network which allows women to find friends. This can be very difficult on Phuket as there are relatively few foreign women who live on Phuket when compared to men.
