The Phuket Carrefour store is located in the Jungceylon shopping mall in Patong beach. For those of you who haven’t heard about Carrefour before, it is a large French retail giant which operated large stores similar to Big C or Lotus Tesco. The Phuket Carrefour store carries both food and non food items spread over two levels. From all the major Phuket supermarkets I would say that the variety and quality of the food items is by far the best at the Patong Carrefour store when compared to the Phuket Big C or Phuket Tesco Lotus. This French owned Phuket store stocks a lot of specialized food items which include imported cheeses and French sausages which cannot be found in any other Phuket supermarket.

The opening of the Carrefour Patong store was a blessing for many of local residents, Phuket expats and businesses which are based in Patong beach or even neighboring Kamala Beach, Kata beach or Karon beach. Before the Phuket Carrefour branch opened there was no proper supermarket in Patong which meant that everybody had to drive down to Tesco Lotus or Big C for groceries. Fortunately buying food for these people has become a great deal easier as the Carrefour Phuket store is conveniently location in the Patong Jungceylon shopping mall which houses hundreds of shops, food and beverage venues and entertainment venues.

One of the things which I like best about the Phuket Carrefour is its outstanding bakery section. They sell some of the best baguettes I have ever eaten and their pastry selection is by far the best found anywhere on Phuket. Fresh bakery products are added throughout the day so your bread or croissant will always be fresh. Both food and non food items are priced very competitively at this giant Patong store so there is little need to shop elsewhere on Phuket Island.

I would however like to point out that Phuket Carrefour not only sells outstanding food products but also non food products. Whatever you may be looking for, chances are that you can find in at this large French supermarket. Inexpensive yet high quality cloths can be bought at the Carrefour Phuket as well as all types of household items and consumer electronics. Many of these products of course come with proper warranties and guarantees.

Once you have done shopping at the Carrefour in Patong then why not explore the rest of the Phuket Jungceylon shopping mall. There is for example an outstanding food court which is located in the basement of the Jungceylon mall and there is a world class cinema on the third floor of this shopping center in Patong beach.

There is an excellent parking garage at the Patong Jungceylon mall and if you do some shopping at the Phuket Carrefour shop then please be sure to show the receipt so that your parking will get validated.
