One of the oldest Patong shopping venues is the Ocean Plaza mall which is located along Bangla Road in the center of Patong beach. The main shop at this Patong shopping mall is the Ocean department store however you will find plenty of other shops including for example a Boots shop and various boutique clothing stores. There is also an excellent supermarket located in the basement of this ever so popular Patong shopping mall.

Another great place in Patong for shopping is the Patong OTOP market which is located along Rat U Thit 200 Pee Road. This massive outdoor Patong shopping venue has several hundred stores, Patong beer bars and food and beverage outlets. If you are interested in purchasing some copy DVD movies, software or perhaps some cheap fake designer brands then the Patong OTOP market is definitely the Patong shopping venue which you should visit. The shops at this Patong shopping venue normally open up around 10 AM and will close around 9 PM.
The Patong Bangla Road is another popular Patong shopping venue. You will also encounter many small stores and several large markets where mostly only local residents and expats go shopping. Shoppers will generally pay lower prices in this Patong shopping area.
