The Patong Residence Hotel is a relatively new boutique hotel which opened its doors to the public last year. I have driven by the Patong Residence Hotel many times however I visited this Patong boutique hotel for the first time only a short while ago as I was visiting a cousin of mine who was staying there. I would probably myself classify the Patong Residence as a stylish guesthouse however the owners of this establishment have decided to market the Patong Residence as being a hotel and not a guesthouse. There are in fact few or no differences between some guesthouses and hotels in Patong beach however considering the fact that the Patong Residence hotel only has a small amount of guest rooms, no real hotel facilities such as a swimming pool or even a restaurant, I think it would therefore be best to describe the Patong Residence as being a luxurious Patong guesthouse.

The Patong Residence Hotel is located along Nanai Road which is one of the main roads of Patong beach and is situated against the hill which overlooks Patong and the Andaman Sea. Nanai road is a relatively long and winding road and you are better off staying in certain areas of Nanai road as opposed to others. What I really like about the Patong Residence Hotel is its located as it is located right in the middle of Nanai road and just meters away from the small roads which leads right down to the Jungceylon shopping center. This area of Nanai road has the highest concentration of bars, restaurants and shops and I was to look for holiday accommodation in the Nanai road area of Patong beach then I would definitely be looking for a hotel or guesthouse such as the Patong Residence Hotel. From the Patong Residence Hotel it is only a short walk down to the Patong Jungceylon shopping mall and all the wonderful Patong nightlife venues which are located along Soi Bangla Road.

The Patong Residence Hotel is a relatively small Patong boutique hotel which offers 16 well appointed and nicely decorated guest rooms to travelers and holiday makers. This Patong boutique hotel is located in a modern looking 5 story building and the entrance to the Patong Residence Hotel is indeed very welcoming. When you enter the lobby area of this boutique hotel in Patong beach then you right away see the difference between the Patong Residence Hotel and many other hotels on Phuket. The lobby area of the Patong Residence Guesthouse is very stylish and nice decorated. I especially liked some of the really great paintings which hang on the walls. There is a nice sitting area where you can enjoy a nice conversation or perhaps the daily newspaper. The staff of the Patong Residence is very well trained and their level of English is sufficient.

There are two different types of guest rooms available at this Patong boutique hotel and both of the room types are very nicely designed and spacious. The types of rooms from which you can select if you do decide to make a reservation at the Patong Residence Hotel in Patong beach are the Superior rooms and the deluxe rooms. Considering that this Patong boutique hotel is rather luxurious and very stylish I was amazed to see the room rater at the Patong Residence Hotel. Prices during the low season start at just 600 Thai Baht per room per night and during the high season on Phuket the room rates increase to about 1400 Thai Baht per room per night. All of the nicely designed and furnished rooms of the Patong Residence Hotel include hot & cold water, international television programming, high speed wireless internet access, air-conditioning, mini bar, in room safe and a private balcony.

When it comes to facilities at the Patong Residence hotel I must say that there aren’t too many facilities for guests to enjoy. There is a full size pool table where guests can shoot some pool and this Patong boutique hotel also offers a nice tour desk and Thai massage services.
