One of my favorite restaurants in all of Phuket is the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant. This outstanding Phuket restaurant is located along the road between Patong beach / Kalim and Kamala beach. This area of Phuket is definitely very touristy and you would expect a restaurant such as the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant to charge high prices due to the excellent location of this restaurant in Phuket however prices are actually very affordable. This certainly explains why whenever I dine at the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant with friends or family that it is always rather busy at this lovely Phuket eatery.

When you do decide to visit the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant then you will have the option to either dine indoors or outdoors. I normally sit outside on the terrace which is actually located on a cliff overlooking the Andaman Sea. The view which you can enjoy from there is pretty amazing and is especially really nice during sunset. You will generally find that the busiest time of the day at the Phuket Pan Yaah Thai restaurant is around sunset. If you are not feeling hungry and are just looking for a place to enjoy a beer or a glass of wine then I would also recommend the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant.

If you are interested in visiting this lovely Phuket restaurant then simply leave from Patong and go direction Kamala beach. You will pass Kalim beach and then start going up the hill past the famous Baan Rim Pa restaurant. Just before you get to the Thavorn Beach Village resort you will see the Pan Yaah Phuket Thai restaurant on your left side. There is ample parking space available for your car or scooter. If you take a tuk tuk or a taxi to this Phuket restaurant then I do suggest that you ask them to come and pick you up at a certain time as there are normally no taxis or Tuk Tuk’s waiting outside of the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant although you could wait and some are bound to drive by the restaurant. Please note that there is no public transport which takes passengers between Patong beach and Kamala beach.

The food which is served at the Phuket Pan Yaah Thai restaurant is pretty good. I must admit that I have had better Thai food elsewhere but none of those restaurants were located at such a great location on a cliff overlooking the Andaman Sea. The overall culinary experience is therefore outstanding at the Ban Yaah Thai restaurant. If you are planning to stay at a hotel or resort in either Patong beach or Kamala beach then I strongly suggest for you to give this Phuket restaurant a visit as you will definitely not regret it. Normally you would expect for a restaurant such as the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant to charge high prices due to its location overlooking the Andaman Sea however prices are very affordable with many Thai dishes costing less than 100 Thai Baht. If you want to eat some Farang food then this is also no problem as they have these types of dishes also on their menu.

I have seen a lot of expats as well as Thai residents throw parties at the Pan Yaah Thai restaurant including wedding receptions, birthday parties and other special events. This Phuket restaurant also caters to corporate events in case any of you are looking for that special and suitable restaurant on the West coast of Phuket.
