Nai Thon beach is considered by most local residents to be the most beautiful Phuket beach. If you enjoy visiting a Phuket beach which is still unspoiled and is nice and quiet then you should definitely head over to the Phuket Nai Thon beach. Although there has been some development there in recent times, the area of Nai Thon beach is considerably less developed then other Phuket beach and resort areas. There are a number of excellent Phuket beach resorts and hotels which have opened up in the Nai Thon beach area and these are generally only busy during the Phuket tourist high season. So if you were to visit Nai Thon beach during the tourist low season then you will be one of the only visitors at this lovely Phuket beach.

If you are staying in the upscale and trendy Phuket Laguna area then Nai Thon beach would be the ideal Phuket beach to visit every day as it is located only a short drive away and Nai Thon beach is certainly much nicer than the one you would find at Phuket Laguna.

Nai Thon Beach Location

As most of the best beaches on Phuket, Nai Thon beach is located as well on the West coast of Phuket. Nai Thon beach is located approximately half way between Nai Yang beach and Bang Tao beach and the beach of Phuket Laguna area. If you are staying at a Phuket resort or hotel in the Phuket Laguna area then you would take the road north along the coast which at one point splits of to Nai Thon beach. If you are driving from the Phuket International Airport or the Nai Yang beach area then you would simply follow the coastal ride south bound. Many people consider this stretch of road as one of the most beautiful in all of Phuket.

Nai Thon Beach Activities

When it comes to Nai Thon beach activities, there is not very much to mention in this section. The main activities at Nai Thon beach include swimming and snorkeling. The water of the Andaman Sea is rather calm and shallow at Nai Thon beach which makes it ideal for both these type of activities. There are also a number of Phuket dive shops and schools at Nai Thon beach which can organize dive trips and lessons for you. There is also a number of rather interesting rocky coves at Nai Thon beach which travelers and tourists can explore at their own leisure.

Nai Thon Beach Hotels and Resorts

Although there are not a great number of hotels and resorts at the Phuket Nai Thon beach, the quality of the Nai Thon beach hotels are resorts rank among the best found anywhere on the island. The price / quality ratio is generally very good as hotel and resort prices are less expensive then what you would pay at some of the larger Phuket beach areas. Nai Thon Beach Restaurants

There are only a limited number of Nai Thon beach restaurants from which visitors can select. Obviously there are some really excellent restaurants at the three Nai Thon beach resorts and hotels which we have previously listed. If you are looking for a more local and inexpensive alternative then there are also some rather excellent Nai Thon beach seafood restaurants which are located directly along the beach of Nai Thon.
