As some of you may have noticed, there is already a review for the Mom Tri’s Boathouse but I would like to take this opportunity to point out to you that the Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta is not the same restaurant as the Mom Tri’s Boathouse which is located at Kata Beach. The newly opened Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta is located at the Royal Phuket Marina on the east coast of the island. Mom Tri’s operates a number of resorts and restaurants and all of their businesses are known for their excellent food and or accommodation so if you are looking for a restaurant in Phuket where you can have a romantic night out or simply for a special occasion then please be sure to visit one of the Mom Tri’s restaurants such as the Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta which is also known as the new Boathouse Restaurant at the Royal Phuket Marina.

Although this high end Phuket restaurant only opened its doors to guests only a year or two ago, the Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta at the Royal Phuket Marina has quickly become one of the most respected and valued restaurants on Phuket. This is obviously not a surprise when one considers the company which is behind the New Boathouse Restaurant and the Royal Phuket Marina.

I have been several times to the Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta at Royal Phuket Marina since it first opened its doors and I must say that the food is simply superb. I also enjoy the occasional bottle of wine with my diner and the wine menu of this restaurant in Phuket is outstanding. I believe that the wine selection of the new Mom Tri’s restaurant is one of the best on the island so this restaurant is definitely worth visiting for wine lovers.

Although the food and wine is outstanding at the Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta restaurant, the reason why my wife and I visit this Royal Phuket Marina restaurant is because of its location. You can enjoy a meal on the terrace whilst looking at all the beautiful yacht and ships which are berthed just outside of the new Boathouse Restaurant at the Royal Phuket Marina. It certainly creates a rather unique and very special atmosphere and a wonderful dining experience. The Royal Phuket Marina is situated on the on the east coast of Phuket and away from all the popular Phuket beach resort towns, it unfortunately means that only few tourists and travelers get to know about this wonderful restaurant which really is a shame. If you are interested in visiting the new Boathouse Restaurant at Royal Phuket Marina then I would suggest that you plan a visit on either Thursday or Saturday evening as you can then enjoy some fabulous Live Bossa Nova music.

The menu at Mom Tri’s Boathouse Regatta at Royal Phuket Marina is rather stunning and included both local Thai dishes as well as some really outstanding international dishes. Personally I enjoy eating lobster but finding good lobster on Phuket is rather difficult but I have found a wonderful lobster dish at this Phuket restaurant at the Royal Phuket Marina. Mom Tri’s Boathouse Restaurant also has some of the best steaks I have ever eaten in all of Thailand. I would suggest for you to consider getting the special 3 course gourmet menu which also includes coffee or tea and the price for this gourmet menu is only 1000 Thai Baht per person. The new Boathouse Restaurant at the Royal Phuket Marina also has a special happy hour every day from 17:00 until 19:00. Opening hours of this rather lovely restaurant in Phuket are Wednesday through Monday from 11:00 until 23:00 and the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.
