I was invited to the opening party of the Metadee Resort in Kata Beach thus allowing me to speak to the management team of this luxurious Kata resort and being able to look through the resort and having a look at the various rooms and villas of the Metadee Resort Phuket.

For many years it was Patong beach and the area near Laguna Phuket which saw many new hotels and resorts opening. However since a couple of years the trend has changed and now Kata Beach is experiencing a massive growth in the number of Kata hotels and resorts. Almost all of the new hotels and resort in Kata beach are modern resorts and offer all the type of facilities and amenities which international travelers and tourists expect to find during their vacation. In this category the Metadee Resort in Kata Beach certainly fits. This resort in Kata Beach is a medium sized 4 star holiday resort which offers 76 guest rooms and villas to tourists and travelers. As previously mentioned, the Phuket Metadee Resort in Kata Beach has on offer 76 well appointed guest rooms and luxurious private villas. There are in fact 4 different room types available at this resort in Karon beach and that is the deluxe pool view room, deluxe pool access room, access pool villa and the wonderful private pool villa. During my inspection of the rooms and villas I was definitely impressed by the superb design of the accommodation. A lot of wood has been used in the rooms and it has created an almost Scandinavian feel to the villas and rooms at the Metadee Resort in Kata Beach which might not be so bad considering the last number of Scandinavians who spend their holiday in Kata beach. Another thing which I really liked about the rooms and villas at the Metadee Resort and Spa Phuket is the fact that there is mosquito netting above all the beds which is ideal for any guest which may choose to sleep with the windows open. The room and villa facilities are outstanding and guests can enjoy the same type of luxurious as they would back at home. Some of these facilities and amenities include for example free high speed internet access, sofa, working desk, international direct dial telephone, complimentary coffee and tea making facilities, safe, international television programming, large LCD television, bathroom with separate bathtub and shower.

Obviously the private pool villa is the most expensive room type available at the Metadee Resort and Spa in Kata beach but it definitely is worth every penny. It is the ideal room type for honeymooners and couples interested in a romantic weekend in Phuket.

Metadee Resort and Spa Facilities

Many guests want to be pampered during their holiday in Phuket and they want to be entertained. If you are one of those people then the Metadee Resort in Kata Beach is definitely the right type of resort for you. The Metadee Resort Phuket offers a very nice selection of facilities and services to its clients which should keep guests of all ages entertained during their stay at this luxurious 4 star Phuket resort.

Some of the treatments and therapies which guests can enjoy at the Metadee Spa in Kata beach includes deep cleanse facial, antioxidant body polish, fully body massage, body salt glow and neck and shoulder massage. There is also a Jacuzzi and sauna available at the Metadee Spa.

Metadee Resort Food and Beverage

The only thing which I was somewhat surprised about with the Metadee Resort and Spa in Kata beach is the fact that the resort only has one restaurant. Normally resorts this size have at least 2 restaurants. However I did dine at the restaurants of this Kata beach resort and it was a real delight!

The Metadee Resort restaurant is called the Himmaphan restaurant which basically means that Cashew Nut restaurant which is a suitable name considering the fact that cashew nuts are often used in many Thai dishes. However the Himmaphan restaurant not only serves outstanding Thai dishes but also some really nice western dishes. If however you want to dine outside of the resort then you won’t have any problem in finding a suitable restaurant as there are many excellent Kata restaurants which are located within easy walking distance from the Metadee Resort Kata Beach.

There is also a great pool bar at the resort for those of you who would like to enjoy a few cold tropical cocktails at the swimming pool area.

Metadee Resort Kata Beach Location

The Metadee Resort is located in Kata beach which is one of the most popular Phuket travel destinations. The white sandy beach of Kata is located only a couple of minutes walk away from the resort. The main entertainment and shopping areas of Kata beach are located 5 minutes away on foot.
