One of the Patong guesthouses which I have received many very mixed reviews from is Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong. I have often driven by the Patong Little Buddha Guesthouse as it is located along a short cut which takes me from Nanai Road to the Patong Jungceylon shopping mall and I always thought it looked rather nice from the outside. I always have a strict policy that I will only recommend a Patong guesthouse after having visited the guesthouse myself and inspected the rooms. So I decided to visit the Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong beach and to find out why this Patong guesthouse receives such very mixed reviews on sites such as Trip Advisor for example.

There is an old saying which is that you get what you pay for. There are a lot of budget travelers who visit Patong every year which is one of the reasons why many Patong guesthouses have been very successful in the past as they offer affordable holiday accommodation to budget travelers. However you should not assume that a Patong guesthouse such as the Little Buddha Guesthouse can offer similar quality accommodation and facilities as are provided by 4 or 5 star hotels and resorts in Patong beach. You can stay for as little as 10 Euros per room per night at the Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong beach which is very cheap especially when compared to how much you would pay in America or Europe and you should match your expectations with the amount of money which you are paying for your holiday accommodation on the island of Phuket. Considering the fact that you can stay at this charming little guesthouse in Patong starting at around 10 Euro per room per night, I do feel that the Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong beach offers extremely good value for money and I will definitely be recommending this Patong guesthouse to fellow travelers in the future.

The Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong beach is owned by a very nice Italian man who has done an extremely good job in designing and decorating this lovely guesthouse in Patong beach. The guest house is actually located in a relatively new shop house along a street which was constructed a few years back so that people could travel from Nanai Road down to the center of Patong. When you approach the Little Buddha Guesthouse for the first time you can’t help but notice the wonderful design and decorations. Various Buddha statues have been placed at the entrance of the Little Buddha Guesthouse and beautiful local paintings decorate the walls of the lobby area. All of this has created a very Zen type of atmosphere and environment. There is also a small restaurant / coffee shop located on the ground floor which includes a nice terrace right in front of the Patong Little Buddha guesthouse. It is a wonderful place to enjoy a cup of coffee or perhaps a nice cold Leo Beer and enjoy watching all the people walk by.

There are various different room categories available for travelers and tourists to choose from at this boutique style Patong beach guesthouse. The room types available at the Little Buddha Guesthouse in Patong beach include economy rooms, standard rooms and superior rooms. The Little Buddha Guesthouse is also one of the only guesthouses in Patong beach which offers triple rooms. The rooms of this Patong beach guesthouse are designed and decorated in a similar way as the public areas of the Little Buddha guesthouse. Alternatively you could also head down to nearby Nanai Road which is filled with many inexpensive bars, restaurants and shopping venues.
