Lim’s Restaurant Phuket is one of my favorite restaurants of Phuket. Lim’s Restaurant is located just north of Patong beach in the Kalim beach area and has recently celebrated its 10 years anniversary. I only discovered this restaurant recently and it’s a shame that I did not know of its existence earlier as the venue, food and service is just amazing. This Kalim beach restaurant is not really located along a busy road which is probably why many locals and especially travelers and tourists have never heard about this excellent Phuket restaurant. If you are planning a trip to Phuket and would like to satisfy your taste buds then please take my advice and enjoy a splendid meal at Lim’s Restaurant Phuket during your stay on the island. Please note that Lim’s Restaurant Phuket is only open for dinner service and not for lunch or breakfast.

Although the Western and Thai dishes at Lim’s Restaurant Phuket are outstanding, I personally visit this restaurant with my friends and family because of the ambience found at this excellent restaurant on Phuket. One of the first things which you will immediately notice upon entering Phuket Lim’s restaurant is that there is a lot of art work at the restaurant and that a great deal of time and effort was spend on creating a beautifully designed and very stylish restaurant. To top it off, there is wonderful chill out music / ambience music in the background which created an atmosphere where guests just want to spend a lot of time in.

I would also like to point out that the service staff is among the best I have ever encountered during my visits to upscale restaurants throughout Thailand. This is another reason why I would recommend Lim’s Restaurant Phuket to anyone looking for a special type of restaurant where they could celebrate that special occasion such as a wedding anniversary. I would like to point out however that the restaurant is not very large and seating is limited so please do place a reservation ahead of time in case you would like to experience a dinner at Lims Restaurant Phuket first hand.

This wonderful Phuket restaurant was founded and is still owned by Khun Gop who is a well known local artist. It should therefore come as no surprise that a lot of Khun Gop’s artwork is displayed at the hip and trendy Lim’s Restaurant Phuket. The other owner of Lims restaurant in Phuket is Daniel Bosshard who is a well known figure in the local party and social scene of Phuket.

Lim’s Restaurant Phuket has a more than impressive wine collection on offer with wines from around the world. Many of the high end Phuket restaurants charge a lot of money for their wine however this restaurant actually offers its wines at affordable prices which is appreciated a great deal especially by the local Phuket expat community.
