Koh Yao Noi

Koh Yao Noi is one of the islands in Phuket undergoing development and renovations to accommodate the fast growing number of tourists visiting the island every year. However, despite the renovation, the Koh Yao Noi still remains as a tranquil island away from the busy streets of Phuket.

This island had been visited by so many popular celebrities from Hollywood and other parts of the world. So famous indeed that one of the James Bond movies was filmed here in Koh Yao Noi. Koh Yao Noi has a sister island which is just a few minutes away and can be reached by riding a boat – the Koh Yao Yai.

Koh Yao Noi is not just a home for humans but also for wildlife creatures as well. There are at least 250 different species of mammals living here in Koh Yao Noi and more than 900 bird species nesting at the trees of the island. Moreover, the sea that surrounds the Koh Yao Noi is a haven for tons of coral reefs. As a matter of fact, Koh Yao Noi is a world-renowned island and is considered as one of the finest diving sites in the whole world.

One of the best things here in Koh Yao Noi is its climate. You can experience a tropical temperature the whole year round. Rainfall usually happens during the month of May until the month of July. The same climate can be felt during September to October as well. This gives the island a refreshing breezy wind during the said months.
