The Kata Noi Pavilion is located in the somewhat busy and main street of Kata Noi and if you don’t pay attention then you might drive past it without ever noticing it. The Kata Noi Pavilion guesthouse is surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and other small Kata Noi hotels. When I entered the Kata Noi Pavilion I was immediately greeted by the front desk staff in only a way Thai people seem to be able to do. I was right away made feel welcome by the lovely ladies working at the Kata Noi Pavilion and this is so very important in my opinion as this is the first impression which guests will have of their hotel, resort or guesthouse.
The Kata Noi Pavilion is a Thai style guesthouse and it basically offers clean and comfortable rooms to budget travelers and tourists. Please note that this Kata Noi guesthouse is not some hip and trendy boutique style guesthouse like some of the ones in Patong beach. However there is not much choice in Kata Noi when it comes to guesthouses and the Kata Noi Pavilion is one of the nicest guesthouses which I visited in Kata Noi beach. One of the things which I really like about the Kata Noi Pavilion is its location. The white sandy beach of Kata Noi is located within stone’s throw of this Kata Noi guesthouse and there are so many bars, restaurants, attractions and activities located in the direct vicinity of the Kata Noi Pavilion.
I asked around with some local business owner in Kata Noi beach whom I know and they told me that this Kata Noi guesthouse is very popular and it can be very difficult to make a reservation at the Kata Noi Pavilion as they are frequently fully booked. Fortunately for myself and my readers there were some available rooms during my recent visit of this establishment as the rooms are after all the most important part of my review. The rooms were designed in a typical Thai guesthouse style which means that they are comfortable and practical but nothing too fancy. Some of the room facilities which tourists and travelers can enjoy at the Kata Noi Pavilion include for example a private bathroom, air-conditioning, international television programming and a fridge.
As with most Phuket guesthouses, the Kata Noi Pavilion does not offer any real facilities such as a swimming pool. But what should you expect from a place which offers such low room rates. As I mentioned before, Kata Noi beach is a rather expensive area of Phuket when it comes to holiday accommodation yet this Kata Noi guesthouse offers rooms starting 700 Thai Baht per room per night during the Phuket tourist low season. Please note that there are two room categories available at the Kata Noi Pavilion and they are standard rooms and deluxe rooms.
There is also a nice pub style restaurant with outdoor terrace at the Kata Noi Pavilion and the prices are pretty reasonable which partly explains why many outside visitors can also be found at this food and beverage venue.
