I discovered why when I met the charming owner of the Karon Cocktail Inn guesthouse as he is in fact Swiss! He owns and managed this Karon guesthouse with his lovely wife and an excellent team of well trained Thai staff. You can rest assured that in case you do book a room at the Karon Cocktail Inn guesthouse that you will be taken care of extremely well by both the Swiss owner of this Kata beach guesthouse and his wonderful Thai staff.

However the highlight of my visit to the Karon Cocktail Inn guesthouse must certainly have been my inspection of the rooms. I always believe that even if someone is staying at budget accommodation then the rooms could still be nicely decorated and furnishes as this does not cost a lot of accomplish. All you need is a little bit of imagination and a bit of good taste and you can make from a room of any guesthouse something warm, friendly and very comfortable. However much to my surprise, the room rates are equal or even cheaper compared to some of the other Karon beach guest houses which I have visited in the past. Room rates at the Karon Cocktail Inn Guesthouse in Karon beach start at only 500 Thai Baht per room per night during the tourist low season and increase to about 1100 Thai Baht per room per night during the high season of Karon beach.
