Kanchana Garden Place
The Kanchana Garden Place is a relatively new guesthouse and Patong serviced apartment provider which is not actually located along the main Nanai Road but is in fact located along Soi Nanai Song. This is a relatively small and narrow road which is home to mostly residential units as well as some really nice bars and restaurants as well as a popular shrimp fishing complex. If you are to stay at the Kanchana Garden Place in Patong beach then I would recommend for you to rent at least a scooter so as to get around town. If you were to walk down to the beach then it would easily be a 15 – 20 minute walk which is not necessarily a bad thing however it does get hot in the day time and I wouldn’t recommend such a long walk in the hot sun.
The Kanchana Garden Place in Patong beach is a medium sized property which consists of a main building which houses the guesthouse rooms and then the additional building is home to the various different serviced apartments and standard rooms. There are 12 well appointed guesthouse rooms at the Kanchana Garden Place in Patong beach as well as 12 serviced apartments and 8 standard guest rooms.
The main building of the Kanchana Garden Place is a new and modern 4 story building which is designed in a contemporary Thai style. In my humble opinion the Kanchana Garden Place is one of the nicest looking guesthouses along the Nanai road area of Patong beach. The building which houses the apartments is located at the back of the main building of the Kanchana Garden Place.
One of the reasons why I really like is the Kanchana Garden Place is that they offer a nice outdoor swimming pool as well which is not only great of course for the travelers and tourists staying at this Patong guesthouse but also to the long term residents who are staying in one of the serviced apartments. The Kanchana Garden Place is the only budget serviced apartments establishment in Patong which I know about which its very own swimming pool. Please note that there is also ample parking available for those folks who are staying at the Kanchana Garden Place.
Room rates are rather affordable at the Kanchana Garden Place with standard rooms starting at only 500 Thai Baht per room per night during the low season with rates only increasing by a few hundred Thai Baht during the peak season. The services apartments of the Kanchana Garden Place start at around 600 Thai Baht per night during the low season and the well appointed guesthouse rooms cost only 200 Thai Baht per night more. Please note that specially discounted prices are offered for long term residents. All of the guest rooms of the Kanchana Garden Place offer room facilities and amenities such as international television programming, fridge, air-conditioning and a safety deposit box.
When I visited the Kanchana Garden Place I was rather impressed by this Patong guesthouse as due to its location it is able to offer a quiet and relaxing atmosphere and environment to its guests. The staff of the Kanchana Garden Place was all extremely friendly. I did have the chance to speak to some of the travelers who were staying at this guesthouse in Patong beach as well as a few expats who were staying in one of the Patong serviced apartments and they all seemed to be very pleased with the Kanchana Garden Place which is why I give this place a definite thumbs up.
