Kamala beach is located on the east coast of Phuket and is only a ten minute drive to the north of Patong beach. To the north of Kamala beach you will find Surin beach, Layan Beach and the Phuket Laguna beach area. Airport transfer to Kamala beach will take around 40 minutes.

The nightlife at Kamala beach is very limited and there are only a few Kamala beer bars which you can visit. There are no large Kamala beach nightlife venues such as cabaret shows or Kamala discos. But the great thing about the location of Kamala beach is that you are only a short drive by motorbike or Tuk Tuk away from Patong. So you can choose to stay at a Kamala beach hotel and then visit Patong if you want to explore the legendary Phuket nightlife.
