The Horn Grill Restaurant in Kata Beach is one of the best restaurants in Kata beach for those of you who enjoy a really nice steak. The Horn Grill Steakhouse Kata beach has been around for a number of years and it always seem to be very busy whenever I visit this Phuket restaurant with my wife. It is always a good sign whenever you see a healthy mix of tourists as well as local Phuket expat residents at a restaurant and this is definitely the case with the Horn Grill in Kata beach. This excellent restaurant on Phuket is definitely on my list of top 10 Phuket restaurants to visit for travelers and tourists spending their vacation on this wonderful Thai holiday island.

If you enjoy eating a good steak and this is your first trip to Thailand then I would like to point out some things about the different qualities of beef in Thailand. Most of the locally raised beef is not of a very good quality and I personally really don’t like the Thai steaks. This is why it is important that you check to see if a steakhouse on Phuket is serving local beef or imported steaks from Australia or the US for example. The price might be a little bit more expensive however it is definitely worth every extra penny. The Phuket Horn Grill Restaurant in Kata beach does service prime imported beef from Australia. I personally always order the Angus Tenderloin Steak whenever I am having dinner at this great Phuket steakhouse restaurant.

However I am fully aware that not everyone enjoys eating a steak or even beef for that matter which is why you should take note that the Kata Horn Grill Restaurant on Phuket also serves other types of food including some of the best Andaman seafood found anywhere on the island. Some other really popular dishes at the Horn Grill Phuket restaurant include pizzas, pastas and of course an excellent selection of local Thai dishes which is great for those of you who have a Thai wife or girlfriend. Another nice touch of the chef of this Kata beach restaurant is the fact that he has created a really great kids menu so the Horn Grill Restaurant in Kata beach is truly a family style restaurant.

For those of you that enjoy a glass or bottle of wine with your meal, please note that there is a remarkably good selection of wine available at the Kata Horn Grill Restaurant including affordable white wines, red wines, rose wines and sparkling wines.

The Phuket Horn Grill Restaurant in Kata beach is located in a central and busy area of this Phuket resort town and one of the reasons why I like this Kata restaurant is because there is a really nice terrace at the Horn Grill. This is the ideal place to watch people walking by and it should come as no surprise that most of the guests seem to prefer to have their meal and drinks outside on the terrace as opposed to inside of the Phuket Horn Grill Restaurant.
