The Phuket Green Island Guesthouse is located in a new building so travelers and tourists staying at the Green Island Guesthouse that the facilities and accommodation are in good working order and are clean and tidy. This Karon beach guesthouse is located just up the road from the Karon circle and is situated in the lively center of this Phuket beach resort town. Its location is the most positive aspect about the Green Island Guesthouse Phuket. It is ideal for those of you who would like to stay in Karon beach and won’t have access to a motorbike or car. You can easily walk down to the white sandy beach of Karon and in the immediate surroundings of the Green Island Guesthouse there are dozens of restaurants, shops and Karon beer bars.

The Karon Green Island Guesthouse is owned by Tony who is a kind and friendly character. He always wanted to run a small hotel or guesthouse and his dream finally came true with the opening of the Green Island Guesthouse. He has done a nice job in training his Thai staff and especially the reception staff will make you feel right at home. Several of the staff at the Green Island Guesthouse in Karon beach can speak English reasonably well. If you want to explore the island, visit the best Phuket beaches and visit other attractions then I would recommend for you to have a chat with Tony. He can help you with setting up an itinerary so that you can discover all the nicest things which Phuket has to offer to traveler and tourists.

I do always try to be fair and honest in my review of the various different Phuket businesses listed in our handy online Phuket travel guide. Which is why I would like to point out that it is not very likely that I would recommend the Green Island Guest House in Karon beach to friends or family. I really do not like the way in which both the public areas as well as the guest rooms have been designed and decorated. The rooms have blankets and curtains in a very ugly shade of green and I can’t help it that this Karon guesthouse reminds me of some type of budget accommodation from the 1960’s. The guest rooms and the other areas of the Phuket Green Island Guesthouse are all tidy and clean but the owner has unfortunately done a terrible job in decorated this Phuket guesthouse. It’s a real shame as Tony can really turn his guesthouse into something special with just some different decorations and color schemes. However as it now stands, I would not want to stay at this guesthouse in Karon beach. So many of the new Phuket guesthouses have gone the boutique guesthouse route that I would not know any good reason why for the same money which you pay at the Green Island Guesthouse you would not stay at a trendy and hip Phuket boutique guesthouse.
