I have visited many Phuket guesthouses and I must admit that the staff at the Phuket Grand Orchid Inn Patong is among the nicest, friendliest and best trained staff found at any of the guesthouses on Phuket.

If you are simply looking for the cheapest possible Patong guesthouse then I would not recommend the Grand Orchid Inn to you as prices are relatively expensive when compared to the prices which many other Patong beach guesthouses charges but please keep in mind that the Grand Orchid Inn is situated at a prime location which is very close to the Andaman Sea and the beach of Patong. Generally the hotels and guesthouses which are located close the beach and the crystal blue waters of the Andaman Sea are more expensive then the Patong accommodation found along Rat U Thit road or Nanai road for example.

The guest rooms at the Grand Orchid Inn Patong Beach are extremely nice and can easily be compared to the rooms found in regular 3 or 4 star hotels on Patong but of course at considerable more affordable room rates. The guest rooms are nicely designed and are bright and airy. Guests will have a more than comfortable stay at this Phuket guesthouse as the rooms come equipped with a wide range of modern amenities and facilities.

The price for the least expensive room type during the Phuket tourist low season will cost travelers and tourists around 600 Thai Baht per room per night and the prices will roughly double during the Phuket tourist high season. Please note that there are several different room types available at the Phuket Grand Orchid Inn from which travelers and tourists can choose and include Family suites, mini standard rooms, standard rooms and superior rooms. The Patong Grand Orchid Inn is guest friendly so if you would like to take an overnight guest to your room then you will not be required to pay a joiner fee.

The Grand Orchid Inn is located as mentioned before only 50 meters from the beach but the area in which this Patong guesthouse is located is also a very lively and entertaining area. You won’t find many nightlife venues such as clubs and beer bars however there are many excellent restaurants and shopping venues located nearby. If you are staying at the Grand Orchid Inn Patong and would like to do some bar hopping or clubbing then please note that the famous Bangla Road with all its exciting nightlife venues is located only a few minutes’ walk away.
