Blue Canyon Country Club
Blue Canyon Country Club has two award-winning 18-hole championship courses; the Lake Course and the spectacular Canyon Course. Both courses were built around existing canyons that were an old tin mine. The canyons that were open cast mining are now filled in to create the water hazards.
The Canyon Course has hosted a lot of international tournaments, like the Johnnie Walker Classics in 1994 and 1998, which is one of the biggest events in the region. Eighty-seven sand traps and a number of lakes guarding the fairways and greens adds challenge and appeal to the course. The Lake Course was opened to a broader range of golfers in 1999. Water plays a big role in this course. There are 34 bunkers and five tees.
Laguna Golf Club Phuket
Laguna Golf Club Phuket is an elegant golf course that provides challenge and excitement off the back tees with its strategic holes. There are five luxury hotels within the area that are convenient and world-class. This 18-hole golf course is full of surprises with water appearing almost everywhere and tricky terrain that is harder than it looks. The scenery is just breathtaking with a dramatic vista of Andaman Sea and of nearby mountains.
Loch Palm Golf Club
Loch Palm Golf Club is built around a lake of 46 acres in size, this 18-hole course is located approximately half-way between Phuket City and Patong. The panoramic views of the mountains and breeze off the lake help contribute to what can only be described as the most quiet and relaxing course in all of Phuket. The course has recently made major refurbishment and is starting to compete with the upper more prestigious golf courses on the island.
Mission Hills Golf Club
Mission Hills Golf Club is a newly opened 18-hole and 9-hole course located in the northeastern part of Phuket, Designed by Jack Nicklaus, the courses are cradled by hills and scenic coastal views with sea breezes that helps one have a relaxing and calming experience. Mission Hills also provide a world-class resort facility. The impressive Thai inspired clubhouse contains restaurants, spa, swimming pool, a business center, spa and 72 deluxe hotel rooms.
Phuket Country Club
Phuket Country Club was built in 1989 on a reclaimed tin mine. This golf course was the first standard course that has a 18-hole and 9-hole course totaling to 27 holes.
The Old Course which is a 18-hole was voted as the "Best Course in Thailand" and the "Best Holes Par-Five", both on 2001 and both by Asian Golf Magazine. This challenging and hilly course is characterized by a layout and spectacular holes, with water hazards and fairways meandering through the limestone cliffs and hills.
The Country Club Course which is a 9-hole, allows a game of 18 holes to be played due to 18 different teeing positions. This tricky course is suited for lower handicapped golfers.
Thai Muang Beach Golf and Marina
Thai Muang is one of the few links courses located in Thailand. Situated by the sea in Phang Nga province, this course is over an hour drive from Patong or a 30-minute drive from Phuket International Airport. Recently renovated, this lovely course is on a par with the best golf courses worldwide and provides a challenge and excitement for golfers of every handicap. With forested hills and mountains on one side then blue sea on the opposite, this course give the golfer a total golf experience.
Thai Navy Golf Club
Thai Navy Golf Club is a 18-hole course that is a cheerful and more affordable alternative to plush courses. Located in Phang Nga, this is a golf course with few amenities and not so great country club quality. But considering its price, this golf course is well-maintained and the course's layout is quite interesting.
