A Patong guesthouse does not have to be a boutique style guesthouse to receive my recommendation as is the case with Fiddy’s Guesthouse in Patong beach. One of the reasons why there is such a lively and fun atmosphere present at the Fiddy’s Guesthouse Patong beach is because it is located in Soi Sansabai. In case you don’t know Patong very well, Soi Sansabai is located right in the center of Patong beach and is located directly across the road of the world famous Bangla Road. So if you are a single traveler visiting Patong beach and are planning to hit the bars and clubs every evening then the Fiddy’s Guesthouse in Patong beach would be the ideal holiday accommodation for you. You can just walk right out of the door and you will be immediately surrounded by a wide variety of different Patong bars and discos. Another reason why there is such a lively atmosphere present at Fiddy’s Patong guesthouse is because there is an outstanding bar and restaurant on the ground floor which is not only popular with travelers and tourists staying at Fiddy’s Guesthouse but also with local Patong expat residents.

The Fiddy’s Guesthouse in Patong beach is located in a typical Thai style shop house which is very common for Patong. The guest rooms are located on the upstairs whilst the bar and restaurant is located on the ground floor of this Patong beach guesthouse. When you have a look at the Fiddy’s Guesthouse then you will immediately realize that the owner of Fiddy’s guesthouse in Patong beach is in fact from Scotland as the decorations outside seem to resemble the Scottish flag. So it should come as no surprise that a lot of Scottish expats living on Phuket frequently visit the bar and restaurant of Fiddy’s in Patong beach.

When I went to the Fiddy’s guesthouse in Patong I had the opportunity to have a chat with the Scottish owner and he really is a terrific lad. He has lived in Patong for many years and knows everything about Phuket so in case you do stay at this Patong guesthouse during your vacation and are in need of any information then be sure to pop down to the bar and restaurant and have a chat with the friendly owner of Fiddy’s Guest House.

The rooms are clean yet somewhat plain due to there not being much in term of decorations however I would classify the rooms as luxurious guesthouse rooms. They come equipped with a wide range of modern facilities and amenities and include for example a DVD player, international television programming, air-conditioning, fridge, safety deposit box and free wireless internet. There are several different room types available at Fiddy’s guesthouse in Patong beach and they include a standard double room type and a large double room type. Room rates start at only 600 Thai Baht per room per night during the Phuket tourist low season and increase up to 1000 Thai Baht per room per night during the high season. Please note that there is no joiner fee at Fiddy’s guesthouse so you are more than welcome to take a guest back to your room at night.

Another nice facility offered by Fiddy’s guesthouse is the fact that they have made a deal with a hotel nearby so that guests can use their swimming pool and the other hotel facilities.
