The Farang restaurant Phuket is one of the most popular Phuket restaurants among Phuket expats due to the outstanding food and the very cheap prices. In all fairness, whenever I have visited the Farang Restaurant Phuket I have also seen a fair share of Thai folks enjoying a meal there which is not really a surprise as the prices are very affordable and considerably cheaper then what you normally would pay at a restaurant on Phuket which serves Western style food.

I would like to point out that there are in fact 2 Farang restaurants in Phuket and both are owned by the same person. The original Farang restaurant Phuket is situated at the Phuket Index Living Mall which is located along the Phuket by Pass road nearby to other popular Phuket shopping venues such as the Big C mall and the Tesco Lotus complex. Obviously this area of Phuket is not very near to any of the Phuket resort towns which is probably why most travelers and tourists will have never heard of the Phuket Farang restaurant at the Index Living Mall. As the Phuket Index Living Mall is primarily filled with shops that sell furniture, home décor items and home electronics it really is not a Phuket shopping mall which many tourists or travelers will visit during their holiday on Phuket. This is why the Farang Restaurant Phuket at the Phuket Index Living Mall is primarily popular with Phuket expat residents and local Thai residents.

The second Phuket Farang restaurant is located in Thalang which is also not a tourist destination but there are a lot of Phuket expats that live in that part of the island. This particular Farang Restaurant on Phuket is also visited primarily by both local Phuket residents and Phuket expat residents. There is a very casual and cozy atmosphere at this Phuket restaurant even if the design of this establishment is rather hip. If you happen to drive through Thalang or live in the area and are looking for an affordable restaurant which serves Farang food then I would definitely suggest for you to stop by the Farang restaurant in Thalang for a bite to eat. The staff is all very friendly and attentive at this Thalang restaurant as is the staff which is working at the other Farang restaurant at the Index Living Mall near Phuket City.

Food is priced very attractively with menu prices varying from only 45 Thai Baht up to 110 Thai Baht. You would expect to pay at least double or even triple if you ordered similar dishes at many of the restaurants in Phuket resort areas such as Patong beach and Kata beach. Some of my favorite dishes at the Farang Restaurant Phuket include Beef Tenderloin in red wine sauce and Salmon Steak with verdi salsa sauce.
