The Dedos Restaurant Phuket is a relatively new restaurant which has quickly become one of the most talked about restaurants on Phuket. Many gourmet lovers already consider the DeDos Phuket restaurant to be the best restaurant on Phuket and perhaps even one of the top restaurants in Thailand. Until recently I had never visited the Dedos restaurant on Phuket however I was fairly certain that there must be an excellent executive chef running the restaurant for it to have created such a high reputation within a relatively brief period of time. I was correct up to a certain amount as there is not 1 extraordinary head chef working at the DeDos Phuket restaurant but in fact there are 2 amazing chefs running the kitchen of this leading restaurant on Phuket.

The concept behind the hip and trendy Phuket DeDos restaurant was the brainchild of Chef Cristoph from Luxembourg and Chef Pablo from Bolivia. These two wonderful chefs at one time had been class mates in culinary school and met again years after graduation. These two friends decided that they wanted to start a business together and they came up with the concept behind the successful Dedos Restaurant. They wanted to open a modern style tapas restaurant which serves food which was influenced by Mediterranean, Asian and French cuisines. The final result is superb and diners enjoying a meal at this Laguna Phuket restaurant will certain have a once in a lifetime dining experience.

It has been very interesting to see how the Phuket restaurant industry has developed during the last 10 years or so. There were only a handful of luxurious restaurants on the island and there weren’t really any hip and trendy restaurants on Phuket 10 years ago. Times have certainly changed as there are new more than a few trendy and hip Phuket restaurants which include for example Lim’s restaurant in Kalim, the 9th floor restaurant in Patong and of course the Phuket DeDos restaurant which is situated in the Laguna Phuket area of the island. It was a smart move of the two friends to have opened this wonderful Phuket restaurant in the Laguna Phuket area as there type of expats and travelers that stay in this area of the island will be exactly the type of people that would want a restaurant such as the DeDos Phuket restaurant.

This excellent restaurant on Phuket is beautifully designed, decorated and furnished and you can immediately see that the owners have a great eye for detail. The excellent food which is served at DeDos Phuket restaurant certainly matches the environment in which it is served. There is a very hip and trendy yet still intimate atmosphere at this Phuket dining establishment. DeDos Phuket is a relatively small restaurant as only up to 30 diners can enjoy a meal here at any given time. There is also a lounge area which could host an event for up to 25 people. As DeDos Phuket is so wonderfully designed and offers such excellent food it should come as no surprise that many people and companies book the establishment for private events. This Phuket restaurant would definitely be on my list of the 10 nicest establishments where I could organize a party or event.
