The Blue Garden Resort and Spa is an affordable resort which is situated in the Bang Tao area of the island of Phuket. I have actually been looking for an affordable hotel or resort in Bang Tao as I have received various requests from readers in regards to that. The Blue Garden Phuket Resort at Bang Tao Beach is located approximately 100 meters away from the white sandy beach of Bang Tao which makes it the ideal walking distance. Bang Tao is a high end travel destination but it is relatively quiet and peaceful when compared to Patong beach, Kata beach or even Kamala beach. There are some nice restaurants and a few shops located within walking distance of the Blue Garden Resort and Spa. However if you want to explore a lot of different Phuket nightlife venues then I suggest for you to book a resort, hotel or guesthouse in Patong beach as you won’t find many nightlife venues in Bang Tao.

When I visited the Blue Garden Resort and Spa at Bang Tao beach I had the opportunity to have a brief chat with the French owner of this Bang Tao resort. It should not come as a surprise that a lot of French travelers stay at the Blue Garden Resort and Spa. I could tell that the staff of this Bang Tao resort were trained to a very high standard and some of the staff even spoke both French and English which I have not seen in many hotels or resorts on Phuket Island.

The bungalows and rooms are located around the rather nice swimming pool of the Phuket Blue Garden Resort and Spa. The accommodation units are designed and decorated in a contemporary style and are very nice especially when you consider that this Bang Tao resort only has a 3 star rating and that it offers great rates for a resort which is situated in the Bang Tao beach area of Phuket. During the Phuket tourist low season room rates start for as less as 1000 Thai Baht per room per night and you will have great difficulties in finding a hotel or resort in Bang Tao beach which offers such inexpensive room rates. All of the rooms and bungalows at the Blue Garden Resort and Spa come equipped with luxurious and modern facilities and amenities such as a large LCD TV, free wireless internet access, in room safe, international television programming as well as fully stocked mini bar.

Al though the Blue Garden Resort and Spa is a very small 3 star Bang Tao resort, guests staying there will discover that there are plenty of facilities and activities which they can enjoy. First of all there is a very nice and rather large outdoor swimming pool but some of the other facilities include for example a onsite dive center, pool tables, hair dresser and a massage salon where guests can enjoy massages and other spa treatments.

The Blue Garden Resort and Spa at Bang Tao beach is also home to a very popular restaurant which serves both Thai as well as French cuisine. Many expats living in this area of Phuket visit this restaurant because of the outstanding food, warm ambience and affordable prices.
