Big Buddha Beach
Thailand is a popular destination for those who wanted have a taste of the exotic life and have a summer escapade. But because of the growing number of tourists rushing in Thailand, specifically in the beaches of Phuket, the islands are now getting more and more modern establishments, making it less serene and relaxing.
But you can still find a spectacular and somewhat tranquil beach located at the north coast of the Phuket Island. The Big Buddha Beach is considered as one of the less-crowded beaches that can be found at the Ko Samui. The Big Buddha Beach is not large or commercialized compared to the other beaches in Phuket. But that’s what makes it different. There is a wide range of guesthouses and hotels that are within reach for all the visitors in a tight budget. There are also mid-range resorts that you can visit even if you do not have enough money to spend.
The Big Buddha Beach does not have many guests, making it great for tourists who want to relax and simply unwind without the crowd. But the area is not really great for those who wanted to take a stroll at the beach. Although there are not so many tourists around Big Buddha Beach, there are tons of anchored boats as well as ferries coming to and from Kho Pha Ngan.
The eastern side of this popular beach destination in Phuket is located under the path going to the Ko Samui airport. During the tourism’s peak season, the Big Buddha Beaach is not a great place to stay because of the airport noise, especially if you would stay at the eastern area. But if you can tolerate the noise of small planes, the Big Buddha Beach is an excellent place for budget-conscious tourists like you.
