In my continued search for clean and affordable holiday accommodation on the island of Phuket I recently came across the Bauman Villa Patong. As I have mentioned several times before, a lot of new guesthouses and hotels in Patong beach have opened its doors to travelers and tourists in recent times and the Bauman Ville is one of them. As with all the Patong guesthouses which I have reviewed in this handy online Phuket travel guide, I have also personally visited this particular Patong guesthouse so that I could add a Bauman Villa review on our Phuket guide.

The Bauman Villa has the same owners Bauman Buri Resort in Patong beach which opened a few years ago and has been an extremely successful resort in Patong beach. The owners of the Bauman Buri wanted to expand in the Phuket hospitality industry and they wanted to enter the fast growing Patong budget accommodation sector which is why the built the Bauman Ville Guesthouse which still offers a very high level of service and clean and comfortable accommodation but at considerably lower room rates then what a tourist or traveler would pay at the Bauman Buri resort in Patong beach. It is therefore rather clear that the Bauman Ville guesthouse in Patong beach targets budget travelers and it has been doing this very successfully ever since the Bauman Ville guesthouse in Patong opened recently.

The Bauman Ville hotel in Patong is located in a relatively large and modern 5 story building which you won’t have any problem spotting as it is painted in a pink color. Although it seems that the Bauman Ville is marketing itself as being a guesthouse, I would prefer to call it a luxurious budget hotel as it offers the same type of facilities, amenities and accommodation which many 3 or even 4 star hotels in Patong offer their customers and clients. The Bauman Ville Patong guesthouse is one of the largest guesthouses in Patong with its 44 well appointed guest rooms.

As with many of the new guesthouses and budget hotels which I have recently reviewed in this handy online Phuket travel guide, the Bauman Ville is also located in the Nanai road area of Patong beach. One of the main reasons for this is because land at Nanai road is relatively inexpensive when compared to other areas of Patong beach and also because Patong beach is pretty much filled up and it is rather difficult to find any available land or building for sale closer to the beach of Patong. I personally really like the area in which the Patong Bauman Ville guesthouse is situated as there are plenty of inexpensive bars, restaurants and other small local businesses. This is why you will find many local expats that live in this area of Patong beach. The beach of Patong, Jungceylon shopping mall and Bangla Road are all located within a 10 minute walk from Nanai Road and the Bauman Ville Patong hotel.

When I recently visited the Bauman Ville in Patong I did notice right away that although it offers affordable holiday accommodation to budget travelers and tourists, the owners of this Patong budget hotel did do their best to create a stylish and modern environment and a very pleasant atmosphere. The staff all wore nice uniforms were well groomed and spoke outstanding English. With the staff it is also clearly visible that the owners have extensive experience in the Phuket hotel industry. Guests staying at the Bauman Ville Guesthouse in Patong will certainly be extremely pleased by the high level of customer service which they will receive by the staff of the Bauman Ville Phuket guesthouse.

I also had the opportunity to visit some of the rooms at the Bauman Ville Patong Guesthouse and I would like to point out that the Bauman Ville Guesthouse in Patong beach only offers one type of room category. You could however choose to either have a twin room or a double room with king size bed. The rooms are all bright and nicely decorated and are very spacious for Patong hotel and guesthouse standards. There are plenty of room facilities and amenities which tourists and travelers can enjoy in their guest room at the Bauman Ville Guesthouse in Patong beach and this includes for example a private balcony, air-conditioning, international television programming, fully stocked mini bar, direct dial telephone and complimentary high speed wireless internet access.

The Bauman Ville Patong is probably the only guesthouse which I know of in the Nanai road area of Patong beach which offers a swimming pool to its residents. So if you are looking for inexpensive holiday accommodation in Patong but one that does offer access to a lovely outdoor swimming pool then the Bauman Ville Patong guesthouse would definitely be a very suitable option for you. Some of the other facilities which you can enjoy at the Bauman Ville Patong Guesthouse include for example an elevator, internet corner, laundry services, car rental services, tour desk, free secure parking and a financial area.

There is no real restaurant at the Bauman Ville Patong guesthouse however there is a small coffee shop where you can order a nice piece of cake, sandwich or a cold beer.
