One of the most popular and well known beer bars in Patong is the Bangla Bar which is a very suitable name for this Patong beer bar as it is located directly along Bangla road. Most of the beer bars in this area of Patong are located in one of the side roads such as Soi Erik or Soi Sea Dragon however the Bangla Bar is located along Bangla Road which is the most famous road on Phuket as its filled with some of the finest Phuket nightlife venues which include for example the Tiger Disco, the Kangaroo Bar and Scruffy Murphy’s. Sometimes I just sit in amazement to see some of the stuff what is going on there and to see some of the weirdest people walk by which I have ever seen in my life.

The Patong Bangla bar is not a very large Phuket beer bar however it is always very lively and you will certainly have a fun and memorable time if you visit the Phuket Bangla bar during your next trip to Phuket Island. The Bangla beer bar is owned by two very nice guys. One of them is Sweden whilst the other is from Canada and both can be found nearly every night at this beer bar Patong. They certainly know how to make visitors feel right at home and how to throw some really awesome parties. The two farang bar owners have done a tremendous job in hiring some of the sexiest bar girls of Phuket and they don’t overcharge as does happen with many other Patong beer bars along Bangla road. As one of the owners is Swedish many local Phuket Swedish expats and Swedish tourists and travelers seem to visit this awesome beer bar in Patong beach.

As I mentioned before, the prices at the Phuket Bangla bar are rather affordable when compared to some of the other Bangla road beer bars. They have Chang draft beer for example for only 50 Thai Baht per glass. All the regular bottled beer which include Heineken and Singha beer for example cost only 80 Thai Baht per bottle. The prices for cocktail are between 120 Thai Baht and 140 Thai Baht per cocktail. If you are feeling a bit hungry then please note that the Bangla Bar serves some pretty good burgers. During their popular happy hour draft beers only cost 35 Thai Baht per glass!
