Bang Tao
Because of the booming tourism industry in Thailand, specifically in Phuket, there are now tons of hotels and resorts that can accommodate the growing number of tourists. Bang Tao is located just a few kilometres away from the town called Cherng Talay. In this area the villagers are still make a living out of fishing, rubber tapping, and farming. There is also a golf course where you can play if you are residing in any of the houses or hotels of the resort.
Aside from golf, visitors and even outsiders can do various activities here in Laguna Phuket such as rock climbing and windsurfing. But if you want to have a more exotic experience, you can try riding an elephant instead.
Bang Tao has an upbeat nightlife especially in the bars and restaurants located at the beachfront. Aside from the live entertainment, you can also purchase foods at a cheaper price compared to the prices seen in the hotels.
