It is also possible to travel to the waterfall on elephant, the forest in this area is home to mouse deer, bears, langurs, monkeys, barking deer, mouse deer, bears, wild boar, and many more exotic creatures as well as the towering forest tress and ample tropical flora and fauna.
There is also the added attraction of the Phuket Gibbon Rehabilitation Centre run by an international animal charity. Here you will be able to meet adopted gibbons who are cared for and nurtured until they are able to be released back into the wild, last admissions of the day are at 4pm. Outside of the centre there are plenty of places to find a good, cheap Thai meal..
