I was recently looking over all the hotels and guesthouses in Patong beach which I have reviewed and I was actually somewhat shocked when I found out that I had completely forgotten to add a review of Baan Veerakit as this is certainly one of my favorite budget holiday accommodation in Patong beach. One of the great things about Baan Veerakit is that this wonderful Patong guesthouse / hotel not only offers beautifully designed guest rooms but Baan Veerakit also offers charming bungalows which are also available for long term rentals and at more than affordable rates.

Baan Veerakit gets its name from its owner as this wonderful Patong hotel is owned by the Veerakit family which is one of the most prominent families which has its roots in Patong. The Veerakit family did in fact own large portions of land along the Nanai road area of Patong however they have sold a lot of that to hotel and real estate developers over the last decade or so. Eddie Veerakit and his daughter own and manage the Baan Veerakit hotel in Patong beach and I have only ever heard great reviews from the travelers and tourists that have stayed at this affordable hotel along Nanai Road. I must admit however that I have known Eddie for close to a decade and he is one of the nicest Thai people I have ever met on Phuket. He is always very eager to help people and this also applies to the guests staying in one his bungalows or hotel rooms. Recently Eddie Veerakit also added 6 modern homes which are available for both short term and long term rentals.

Baan Veerakit does call itself a hotel however in all frankness I would personally classify it as a guesthouse as it has been constructed in a similar fashion and is also small in size. However one of the main differences between Baan Veerakit Patong hotel and other similar properties is that it offers a wonderful swimming pool and sun deck. I used to stay in a lovely house just up the hill of Baan Veerakit and whenever I drove down to town I would pass the swimming pool and I can tell you that it was very much used by the tourists and travelers staying at the Baan Veerakit hotel in Patong beach.

Baan Veerakit is located in a large modern building along Nanai Road. This area of Patong beach is home to some of the best budget class hotels and Patong guesthouses and this includes of course the Baan Veerakit hotel. If you feel like walking down to the white sandy beach of Patong then it will take you about 15 minutes. However one of the great things about the Nanai road area is that it is filled with many excellent bars and restaurants and these venues are generally considerably cheaper than the restaurants and bars which are located closer to the beach or are situated around Soi Bangla.

The guest rooms of Baan Veerakit are designed and decorated in a classy yet modern Thai style and I am certain that anyone staying in one of these rooms will be more than impressed. The Baan Veerakit Patong guest rooms are well appointed and include modern and luxurious facilities & amenities such as in room safe, international television programming, fridge, high speed internet access and bathroom toiletries. Another thing which I really like about the rooms of the Baan Veerakit hotel in Patong beach is the fact that they all have a balcony which is not something you will find at most of the hotels and guesthouses in this part of Patong beach. Daily rental prices and monthly prices are available for the guest rooms of the Baan Veerakit hotel. Daily rate starts at 900 Thai Baht per room per night and 21000 Thai Baht per room per month. The bungalow rates start at 12000 Thai Baht per bungalow per month.
