Most of the readers of this handy online Phuket guide will know that I have reviewed many hotels, resorts and guesthouses on Phuket and I must admit that it is not always a very interesting job as so many of the new hotels are just so similar. What I really like and enjoy visiting is new Phuket resorts or hotels such as the Access Resort Phuket in Karon beach which actually offer something fresh or unique. The Access Resort Karon Beach is are relatively large 4 star deluxe resort in Karon beach which offers 139 superbly designed guest rooms and well appointed villas to travelers and tourists. I would also like to immediately mention to you that although the Access Resort Phuket in Karon beach is marketing itself as being a 4 star resort, I would not disagree if they would actually be marketing themselves as being a 5 star resort as the facilities, quality of service and the accommodation is easily on par with that of some of the 5 star resorts and hotels on the island of Phuket.

Before I continue with the review of this beautiful resort in Karon beach I do want to point out that this resort is not located very close to the white sandy beach of Karon. Although the Access Resort Phuket is a very appealing 4 star deluxe Phuket resort, I am aware that many travelers and tourists who tend to book deluxe 4 star Karon resorts do want to be close by to the beach and unfortunately this is not the case with the Access Resort Phuket. You can walk down to the beach and it should only take 5 minutes or so and the area in which the Karon Access Resort Phuket is situated in a very lively area of Karon beach with plenty of other hotels, restaurants, small bars and shops.

When I visited the recently opened Phuket Access Resort and Villas in Karon beach I was immediately impressed. This 4 star deluxe Phuket resort is designed in a modern Oriental style and I think that it would be fair to categorize it as a boutique resort as plenty of wonderful design elements can be found at the Access Resort Phuket in Karon beach. The Access resort Phuket is set in wonderfully landscaped gardens and there is a amazing swimming pool which snakes through the resort. We are now getting to the part about what makes the Access Resort Phuket so unique and why it immediately grabbed my attention. The fact is that each and every single room, suite and villa of the Access Resort and Villas in Karon Beach has full pool access. This means that you can basically dive into the swimming pool from your room or the terrace in front. Pool access rooms can be found at more and more hotels and resorts in Thailand as many travelers and tourists are willing to pay a supplement for a room like that. Well at the Access Resort Phuket there is no need to pay a hefty supplement as you will automatically have pool access from your accommodation. Another thing which is really unique and which I have actually never seen at any hotel or resort in the world is the fact that when you order room service that they will deliver your order via boat directly to your room. How cool is that! I am actually planning to stay at the Access Resort Phuket in the near future for a long weekend with my wife simply because I want to order room service and have it delivered to my room by boat.

As mentioned before, the Access Resort Phuket is not located within stone’s throw of the beach of Karon but I would definitely like to recommend this Karon resort to everyone. The resort is new so the rooms, grounds and facilities will be in perfect shape. There are plenty of things to keep guests occupied and even if you are planning a conference or meeting then the Access Resort Phuket could be a great option for you as this Karon resort offers outstanding meeting rooms and related services to its clients. Please note that the Access Resort and Villas in Karon beach also offers special family rooms so families with young kids could very well find that this Karon resort is the ideal holiday resort for them on Phuket Island.

The rooms, villas and suites at the Access Resort Phuket are not only wonderful because they offer full pool access but they are also beautifully designed and decorated in a contemporary Oriental style. All of the accommodation units at the Access Resort and Villas in Karon beach are spacious and include many of the comforts which you are used to from your own home.
